It's not the odd expletive. Paul Warne is a potty mouth😊 But it is an extraordinary insight into football management.

One of the reasons why throwing tea cups and Churchillian rhetoric is an occasional sticking plaster, not an ongoing strategy.

The gentle indication that fans don’t really have a clue what it takes or what they are talking about when it comes to 2D pub football wisdom will upset some. 

It simply isn’t that simple.

Exactly. It was fairly well-known that legendary German manager Helmut Schön managed not via shouting, but by acting insulted when his team were not playing well.
