Trent Canary 0 Posted December 31, 2005 Just took a peek at our club stats for the season, this is our top scorers chart: - Dean Ashton1010011 Darren Huckerby401005 Paul McVeigh400004 Leon McKenzie101002 Ryan Jarvis100001 Ian Henderson100001 Andy Hughes100001 Kevin Lisbie100001 Craig Fleming100001 Youssef Safri100001 Gary Doherty100001 Calum Davenport100001 Simon Charlton100001So other than WLY, hucks and Deano no one has got over one goal! And out of those players, you would only say Hughes, safri, and perhaps Hendo are proper midfielders. You would hope that in January a goalscoring midfielder may be near the top of our list of priorities, we have three good attacking players in Mcv Dean and DH, but they cant score them all! Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted December 31, 2005 with the 3 up front we dont need goals from the midfield. earlier in the season playing a 442 we did miss midfield goals however
Syteanric 1 Posted December 31, 2005 Chelsea play 3 up front.. try telling Frank Lampard they dont need goals from midfeild! if all players in a team are scoring it takes pressure off the strikers... i''d be more than happy if our top scorer had only 8 or 9 a season as long as we were scoring from all over and sitting pretty...jas :)
