Robbo007 0 Posted November 6, 2005 Spent a good few hours researching this. There will be a few errors / abnormalities, but i think its very representive. Our Away form when Nigel Worthington as been in charge:I''ve based the quality of opposition on a combination of their form when we played them, and there end of season position. Ie, i''ve classed Luton as a "7th to 12thth" team, despite them being up there, and i''ve classed Wolves as a "1st to 6th" team despite them being midtable.So...here it is....Norwich vs top teams (ie, 1st - 6th)P24 - W1(5%) D5(20%) L18(75%)Norwich vs Reasonable teams ((ie, 7th - 12th)P28 - W5(16%) D8(30%) L15(54%)Norwich vs Below average teams (ie, 13th - 18th)P23 - W7(30%) D8(35%) L8(35%)Norwich vs Poor teams (ie, 19th - 24th)P28 - W11(39%) D7(25%) L10 (36%) Think these statistics say it all............ breaker 0 Posted November 7, 2005 On the question of statistics Robbo - Gary Holt averaged (when I was able to do this) a 15-22% success rate in keeping possession of the ball, Cedric Anselin averaged (over the course of 6 games, ok some of them reserves) 72-80% success rate. Maybe we needed a Holt far more than an Anselin at the time but Worthy wasted no time in getting rid of Cedric - I don''t know what the percentage rate is of Hughes, Jarret, Marney or Brennan but I bet they are a long way from 70%.
