Bonzo 198 Posted March 31, 2018 Fulham played well and are the form horses. Nonetheless if we are losing I expect us to take the initiative back somehow. Maybe 20 minutes of 442 or we make a bunch of subs to get a more offensive set up rather than to carry on with planA. Personally I’d rather we lost 3or4 nil going for it instead of looking baffled and merely tinkering with planA and losing anyway.O’Neill and Hughton were the same though. Neither were good at reacting “in game” to make the appropriate analysis and changes. This is probably one of the most difficult aspects of management. Plus with our squad who do you bring on to shake it up? Maybe we still need buy a couple more attacking players.
BroadstairsR 2,166 Posted March 31, 2018 "Maybe we still need buy a couple more attacking players."May be Mr. B? We''ve needed that since last Summer. We need to unload an attacker or two as well, especially Ollie, imo.Re: No plan B, jut tinkering.Perhaps manager and squad are already mentally "on the beach" so to speak. Mid table no-hopers.Decisions might have to be made by next Xmas should things not improve.
