SwindonCanary 455 Posted August 26, 2017 I like it, that our board are trying to balance the books. Too many clubs go into debt just attempting to get Premiership money.
Mello Yello 2,293 Posted August 26, 2017 Well hopefully the esteemed hierarchy at NCFC have now all got their loans to the club back......and we''re happily functioning debt free......The football world is now our oyster!......Although, little chance of finding one containing a nice shiny pearl...... AJ 1,221 Posted August 26, 2017 If we don''t go up this year, which is in the balance at the moment, we need to make sure we aren''t going to be riddled with debt in a few years. What our board are doing by balancing things out is entirely sensible for the longevity of the club. Yes, they screwed up last year with AN by not shifting and signing players for a promotion push, but that can''t be changed now. It is frustrating to sell a player for X but then not see the money spent because it has to be budgeted for January/next season, but it makes entire sense. Mello Yello 2,293 Posted August 26, 2017 Personally I think if we don''t get promoted this season we''ll have to cut our cloth accordingly.......with a chainsaw.......
