Rogue Baboon 0 Posted December 11, 2016 So when does the boards backing of Neil snap, especially considering Moxeys ''Promotion, Promotion, Promotion'' statement at the AGM?Its looking like its one or the other at the minute (of course, no guarantees that change = promotion)
Move Klose 303 Posted December 11, 2016 Same amount of points as Neil Adams after 20 games. At this stage under Adams we were 7 points off the top 2. Now we are 12 points off the top 2.
Cantiaci Canary 610 Posted December 11, 2016 I don''t think he''ll still be in place by this time next week but wouldn''t be surprised if he''s still here after the transfer window. We have a history of sentimentally clinging on to corpses whilst watching more decisive clubs sail past us. Crafty Canary 547 Posted December 11, 2016 The issue for the board is who do they replace him with if they sack Neil. Assuming Delia doesn''t make a crony appointment in Hodgson and Poxey doesn''t persuade the board to appoint Jackett just who can they select? They may decide that automatic promotion is now just a pipe dream and the play offs look increasingly problematic with each passing game so keep Neil for the rest of the season and dump him then when there may be more choice. That would then present them with the problem of whether to give Neil any money this window or to save it for the summer and a new manager.Of course, they may just decide Neil is a charmer and very intelligent and give him a new ten year contract. Rogue Baboon 0 Posted December 11, 2016 Monk, but that seems an awful long shot nowWarburton or Rowett?Just think we could have tried to persuade Lambert or Bruce a few months back...However, I see Hodgson has been in the news saying he wants to manage again - Hodgson as DoF with Jackett as manager anybody? Donkey dangler 0 Posted December 12, 2016 I doubt Rowett will come here as Birmingham are about to get taken over. Furthermore why come to a club with no ambition?
Donkey dangler 0 Posted December 12, 2016 Why on earth would Monk come here? Leeds are in a better position than us.
Donkey dangler 0 Posted December 12, 2016 Looks like we are sliding down to the lower half of the table.
