Herman 11,136 Posted April 29, 2016 A decent article about a sublime Robins goal from the Guardian. Worth 5 minutes of your time. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/apr/29/golden-goal-mark-robins-norwich-chelsea-august-1992
Katie Borkins 1 Posted April 29, 2016 This was the same season we went in 2-0 down at half time away to Arsenal, when one end of Highbury was being developed and the works were covered by pictures of cardboard fans. Robins was about to make his debut as a sub, and Walker''s words to him were allegedly "just go out and try to score a goal."As a very funny book chronicling that season had it, "Norwich were now 4-2 up and even the cardboard cutout supporters were leaving."I wonder if cardboard fans are a forerunner of plastic fans?Anyway, perhaps an omen for tomorrow except we are not at Highbury and don''t have a natural striker. Crabbycanary3 994 Posted April 29, 2016 I can clearly remember being in Asda, with a mate, that day, and seeing on their TVs that it was 2-0, and by the time we had finished shopping, and got home, I could not believe my eyes that we had won, and I was bouncing round the House.
