The Kings Lynn Canaries?

Recommended Posts

Instead of just building a new stadium somewhere in or round about Norwich, which feels pointless and unnecessary, why don''t we just take this to the next level and migrate the whole club across to Kings Lynn?  It is still in Norfolk, retains that royal connection, is not far from Sandringham, and far better served by road and rail infrastructure.
"Club Canary" could still function to ship fans from Norwich across to Kings Lynn.
It would provide a serious boost to Kings Lynn, which is like one big Anglia Square at the moment, give Norfolk a "second city" and allow significant urban regeneration to take place with boosts to the local employment market and non-football related entertainment such as hotels, bistros and pole dancing clubs.
A short hop to Cambridge and you''re back in London which would appeal to our millionaire footballers too, and would probably make us more likely to sign a player between now and August 2018.
Fans from outside Norfolk would find it easier to get to Kings Lynn than Norwich and this would enable us to "go big" in the first construction and put up a 40,000 seater stadium.  We would hoover up fans from Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, from all over the place.  Fans flying in to watch games could land at Stansted which has a direct train line.
Carrow Road could be converted into shops or social housing, or a combination of the two, or just burnt to the ground for insurance purposes.  Not that I''m condoning or encouraging that, but it is an option.
A linnet is a bird and so is a canary.  This has to be a sign, right?

Filling the board up with your constant attention seeking drivel.

It''s like an unloved child.

Anglia Square isn''t that bad is it?! IS it?!

Maybe it is.

Maybe Sovereign House, when/if demolished could be used as a location for a new Norwich Stadium? Would certainly bring customers to St Augustines
