Did anyone go to the game yesterday? Watching Heskey I thought was going to be hilarious but infact he was the linchpin at the top of their midfield. linked the play between midfield and upfront really nicely. The lads seemed to find him really hard to pick up and knock off the ball.

Are you mad? The only good thing about our defence yesterday was our full backs. Very attacking and did their best against 2 world class wingers. Naughton isnt the first to be skinned by agbonglahor and certainly won''t be the last. Plenty of better players than Naughton have come off worse

other half is a cov fan and this lad seems to be a crowd favourite. Good for them, not sure he could cut the mustard in the Prem. The last few times iv seen him he play he seems a bit lazy (when he loses the ball) and huffs a bit. Still the kind of player lambert is after? Doubtful.

Have never rated Chris Martin too highly. Dont see why he always starts when we have the likes of Morison on the bench and Jackson. Jackson finished last season on a high and I dont see why chris martin gets his place back so easily after a lengthy injury. Mad.

Thought he was excellent! Goal was de laets fault obviously. WBA had 9ish shots on target and scored 1! Says it all really.

Ruddy Naughton De Laet Ayala Tierney Johnson Bennett Hoolahan Pilkington Morison Vaughan Just don''t think Holt can cut it in the Prem, nor can our other CB''s unfortunately. Way to slow and although De laet''s made a few mistakes, i think he''s our most defensive player and has made some important blocks etc

I think look at covs underachieving players might be a good start. look at marlon king, out of contract this season. I know hes a bit of an idiot but hes out of contract this season and knows about the premier league. Useful and ideal on a free. aron gunnarson, fantastic little player, seen him at the richoh a few times this season, also out of contract. what do u think?
