Robert Snodgrass' Shirt Number?
Canary1902 replied to Brendo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I was going to get Snoddy or Howson but the numbers thing worried me so I went for faithful trusty HOOLAHAN 14. An after thought I had though, was to get the name whilst its free, and just pay for the number once its confirmed -
HOWSON 24 it is. Sod it

Mine is the fastest gunslinger in the west, or if you like, John Marston from Red Dead Redemption. "Men and born.........then they are formed" -
Got Turner and Snodgrass down on our squad list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwich_City_F.C.

New away shirt out today. 99% going to purchase it whilst free printing still available. Question is............which name. Last season I was told between Holt & Morison and went for the former, so he''s on my home shirt. Now torn between Morison, Howson (despite ridiculous posts he might leave), or potentially; Snodgrass.

Paving the way for Howson / Pilks exits?

Its called cover. And it also gives us cover if we play 5 in midfield, and have defender injuries too (I.E - Johnson dropping back to defence last season) Calm down Be positive, its a positive mentality thats got us where we are today -
Haha Hilarious. They are seriously so so bitter And the Norwich/Leeds badge is brilliant

What is our greatest win over the binners?
Canary1902 replied to AndyCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I enjoyed the 4-1 at home more than the 1-5 away. For some reason the atmosphere that day was electric, more so than the usual Old Farm Derby -

Have a Glenn Roeder table. And stick all the family on it that you don''t really want there, but had to invite -
Whitbread signs for Leicester

True. Naughton, Zak and Ads gone and only Whittaker stepping in. Could really do with another defender before the window slams -
Good luck to the lad. Never forget the game against Chelsea. Him and Ward were outstanding http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18955206

Underestimated Little Old Norwich
Canary1902 replied to Canary1902's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Jesus Christ. I''m not saying the bookies, i''m not saying EVERYONE, i''m not saying Jesus Christ and the Bill Bloody Oddie I''m refering to the odds, and thats it. Why do I bother. -
Underestimated Little Old Norwich
Canary1902 replied to Canary1902's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Ok so my post wasn''t odds perfect, but that doesn''t explain why everyone (and by everyone, I mean the people placing bets creating those odds) assumes that QPR, last season''s strugglers who scraped survival on the last day of the season, which wasn''t even in their own hands, are at 4/1 -
Looking at the Coral webite this morning at the relagation odds for the new season. No prizes for guess who is 6/4 favourite for the drop...... 6/4 - Norwich 6/5 - Reading 13/10 - Southampton 7/4 - Wigan 11/5 - Swansea 9/4 - West Ham 4/1 - QPR 4/1 - West Brom This frustrates me in one sense, as it was the same last year, and we outright proved everyone wrong. This year however the fact that Reading, Southampton, and even QPR and Swansea are ahead of us it quite frankly an insult. But on the plus side, we''ve surpassed all expectations in the last 2 seasons (League One wasn''t a shocker really was it). And yet the media, bookies, pundits, and other fans seem to just overlook us every season. Maybe this is one key to our recent success, and if thats the case, then i''m happy for them to assume we''re not a force to be reckoned with

Programme Signed by Paul Lambert
Canary1902 replied to Canary1902's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
True man. I thought maybe it''d be looked upon as an "End of Promotion Season" think, rather than the game itself -
Right! Lets seperate the lovers from the haters *For of all, let me just point out I''m not trying to sell this item on PinkUn. It is purely for information purposes* I''m thinking of whacking this bad boy on ebay. Its from the final game of the League One season (City 0-2 Carlisle), and is sign by Paul Lambert. Interested to find out how much people think I could get for it? High price? Due to the fact that it could be a piece of history. Or Low price? As many of our fans now hate the bloke. Hopefully I''ll come across a Scotsman who supports both Aston Villa and Carlisle, in which case i''d be laughing. Obviously I''m expecting such comments as "Wipe your backside on it", "Sell it for a quid" and "Set it on fire", but anyway........... THOUGHTS?

Appears the ex-Norwich boy is quite sought after property. Just signed for Burnley for around £1.1m, attracting interest from Leicester & Cardiff too according to BBC Football. Have to say I was rather shocked when he left us for Wolves a few years back. Not that he''d remotely get a game at NCFC now. Still glad he''s doing well and punching around the £1m mark
Yet Ward did last season[:^)]
Don''t get me wrong, I think he could still give it a good go in the Premier League. But obviously he''s remembered as a Championship player and is still playing for Championship teams at the moment. But as we know as NCFC fans, it only takes a chance to have a big break to officially be classed as a Premier League player (Like pretty much all our players)
