  1. What I find shocking is the support for the board who seem devoid of any idea on how to run a football club well. Do they have one of those ''running a football club for dummies'' books that they stick to religously? We have had consistency from Delia and her crew - a very poor consistency! I would love to know if she uses the cheapest ingredients in the catering side of NCFC like she does on the pitch or is it the footballing side that she just cheats on?
  2. Allegedly there is a rumour that Doncaster is due to step down as ''chief exec'' having brought the club to its knees and is going to be offered a pension of £13k a week which will be funded by the Norwich City fans. Another story of rewarding ''total f*ck ups'' with a well done!!
  3. Totally agree that Gunn again was the cheap option but if you look at how much we have paid out in settlement payments to the recent dismissed managers and backroom staff (either as part of their team or got rid of because of disagreement in staff set ups) it suddenly becomes apparent that these ''cheap options'' are suddenly starting to mount up and look a tad more expensive due to short sightedness, not forgetting the money wasted on selling on un-wanted players from the previous managers. All this due to not being able to make a tough logical business decision.
  4. Are we moaning because we want to fill up this board or are we fed up with the desperate downfall and the dismal running of the club we support. Granted some people do like moaning but the majority of supporters are totally fed up of the inept board running the club. I think keeping your head in the clouds and not saying anything is more of a crime than to moan and try and bring about a positive change to the control and running of this small minded club.
  5. Well if today was a Cup final all I can say is thank goodness we don''t get to that elated position of being a cup finalist too often if that was the performance we would have to endure and put on show to the nation aswell. If Mumby and Doncaster do not want to use the word ''relegation'' within the confines of Carrow road as they believe they are being positive and helping the situation well let me give them a helping hand and say I am positive that the word that should be muttered around Carrow roads offices soon should be ''resignation'' and yes thats their positions along with taking Delia and Michael along in the cab! With the approach of Alan Sugars ''The Apprentice'' in the offering, I can only hope that the line ''with regret I''m going to have to let you go'' being muttered by our new shareholders sooner rather than later....to the crew that has taken us to the depths of despair!!
  6. We were right to get rid of Worthy, but we lacked the bottle to do it at the right time and just let things come to a head. Our mistake was to appoint a manager who wasn''t a manager and doing things on the cheap as usual rather than apppoint a proven manager. You only have to look at our history of appointing managers under Delia''s reign to see things were destined to fail.( I wonder who does the recruitment within the catering company - hope they have alot more success than we do on the footballing side). We then appointed Roeder who was out of the game and was in nodoyts radar so again we went for the cheap option!
  7. In my opinion the blames lies squarely at the feet of the board and majority shareholders ''Delia and Michael'' and how they want the club to be run. We have a chief exec in Doncaster that has allowed the club to run itself into the ground (which they accept) or he is operating to their instructions so either way its come from the top. We have a chairman who is so silent it makes me wonder why we have the role. We have had such a poor management retention apart from Worthington who they allowed to go on too long in his role and the rest have barely managed to do more than a year in post which to me suggests that they have no clue how to appoint a good manager but only how to appoint a cheap one. We had board members resign over a cloud and still the matter is in secrecy even though the fans own the club. We get told that teams that are above us with fewer fans is due to their major benefactors and that we are lucky to have what we have but we still have the best fans in the world. All in all I point the finger of blame at ''Delia and Michael'' and what they want from this football club and infact do we need them or do they need us for their needs!
  8. If Gunn has the legendary status as described surely a better position within the club would have been in a ''PR'' role rather than being a manager (of a team facing its worst predicament in over 30 years) to help with season ticket renewals. What we needed at the time was a strong decision for the new manager appointment rather than the easy and cheap option. If he was the right man for the job why only give him until the end of the season. The players wanted Gunn because they liked him, so far we haven''t seen them really go the extra mile for him like the teams around us are for their manager''s. We need to address the real issue which is the board, for without removing them we will continue to settle for mediocrity at best and all done on a shoe string budget. We have reaped what we have sown over the last few years and its only in one direction which unfortunately is decline.
