1.

Yep, I too attended the Worthy Out protests, got a leaflet etc. Always post-match though, never pre-match - never saw the point much in pre-match protests. I''d have felt pretty stupid if I''d attended one of those and we took three points! Can''t remember how many I attended now, must''ve been about 4 or 5 or something. The point is, I attended them because I felt that it was the right time for him to go - in other words, months before we suffered complete and utter humiliation at the hands of Burnley! Smudger, you and your flock of three little people (or should that be sheep?) have every right to ''protest'', but, if you have the guts to go through with it, then it is at totally the wrong time. As I''m sure you''re now aware, we appear to be close to signing a couple more players in Marshall and Strihavka (spelling?). So that tells me that the board and Grant are actively trying to get new players in and get them settled in the squad before the new season starts. So what do you think? An intelligent, non-insulting reply for once would be good.
Why ask for a non insulting reply when  you refer to Myself Smudge and cluck as sheep and little people? Im very prepared to protest when the time is right [ Transfers, league position after say 4-5 games..ect] Im going to give PG every chance to prove me wrong but after the last few season i feel his hands will be tied in signing the right players and thats own to the boards past mistakes. The best have left and now we are going for the scraps, although i do think Marshall is a good signing.   Don`t hold your breath for that one !!
2.
Me? looking for backslaps Arthur?, and you call me bloody stupid!. I''ve been around far too long to even need them. I support City.........have done for fifty plus years.........and thats active support mate. I''ve seen the Clucks, Smudgers and yes, even you, come and go. If I had to choose between the big family arms of Delia or you and that duo (yes, I include you!) then ''Deals'' wins hands down  everytime!. Even if that makes me a hypocrite..........in your eyes. After all, who''s done most for our club? Delia Smith or Cluck , Smudger and Whittle?. Hmm? thats a hard one................not!.
You have changed your stance with regards to the board whenever the fancy takes you and the pro board are always there to slap your back when you do,ive read the threads its there in writing so please dont mug me off. Believe me my friend ive seen many people in football and in life in general who will change there views whenever it suits them. There is a difference if you hold your hands up and admit you are wrong but i doubt if you would do that. Thats why i will stick to my views until i can be proved wrong and the club starts going in the right direction and thats also why i admire smudge and cluck alot more then many other folk on this thread be they right or wrong.
 3.
"As I have already said, who does smudge and co want us to sign??  Nugent and Koumas perhaps???......" Me too. But as ever he and Cluck show their naivity by failing to name realistic prospects i.e. Players we can afford Players who are better than the ones we have Are available Want to come to Norfolk It aint a big list I have to tell you.....
sorry mate but i think you will find that the frustration comes from the fact that if the past few seasons the club had been run better the likes of Nugent and Koumas would of walked to this club. Well at least we signed Cureton so all must be well at CR. Wakey wakey.
 4.

I don''t think that Smudger is a binner, but if he is, that would explain the disguise in his avatar there.
All binners look like that, its a mutation caused by intensive and repeated inbreeding.
Good to see you offering a good football club related post as per usual Herb.
 5.
I''ve seen this trend before, likewise with the words and terminology coming from the gobs of S & C, only binners would find Green and Yellow repulsive, only binners would vomit at those colours (both their words!) and only binners would refer to the City supporters with the vast number of  nasty names these two binman regular use. Wise up people, the only reason Smudger  (Smudge on the Ippo boards!) doesn''t go to Carrow Road is he''s down at Portman Road laughing at us all................of course..................this is only my opinion!. Cluck, in my opinion again, is Smudger. Come on peeps...............think about it, you know it makes sense!.
Dont be so bloody stupid. Is it really so hard for people to understand how some fans are sick to death of the way the club has gone? S and C  i doubt very much are binners/the same person and by suggesting such you only make yourself come across as onesided hypocrite. Wiz please dont post threads looking for back slaps. At least S and C stick to what they believe but unforunately in my opionion to many people have been hoodwinked by the CR spin doctors and jumped into the the great big loving, one big family arms of Delia and co.
 6.

Smudger...I''m surprised you even answered this sad little apologists exercise...and even more sad that you are prepared to stand up and fight for this lot. CA has sucked out the usual band of weaklings who would sit and watch Ipswich play if they wore yellow shirts...and they really are best left to fall flat on their faces. Internet nerds who live virtual lives from the comfort of a shoebox. I suggest you do like me...let the sheep take the club down the river to the point where they all bail out...and you, me and the other true club supporters can then return to scrape up the mess. We have Yanks bleating from across the Atlantic (he really has his finger on the pulse doesn''t he?)...Pompous Londoners who can''t resist sticking their snouts into another person''s business (we''ve all seen our villages buggered up by them haven''t we?)...students who''ve got more spots than games under their belts....and of course the "new age" spectator who can afford the seats the real supporters can''t. They are not representative of the City....and not worthy of your effort. The whole City fiasco a waste of time...and under Smith sadly the team itself doesn''t deserve a second thought. There are all sorts of hoorahs turning up at the ground these days...and in truth most of them would struggle to find their way to the ground if you dropped them in Tombland.  Little plastic figures sat in Delia''s cosy dolls house, moved in and out at her behest....and worst of all they pay for the privilege of doing so. Hilarious....but some how embarrassing. They deserve each other mate.........
Cluck mate the things you say ring true with me everytime none more than the fact that football these days is a fashion and not a passion. I will always follow the BADGE of NCFC and for all these hoodwinked dedicated followers of fashion to constantly suggest otherwise makes me laugh.......i know mate i really do ,seen it following England. oh well.   That seems like a great idea.  You all stop posting on here slating everything that happens.  Spend all your Saturday afternoons in the Coach & Horses moaning and regressing into "Grumpy Old Men" in a self fulfilling prophecy.  When we get relegated / go into administration / or go bust........we will all go away, and you can fill the Directors box and/or dug out. 105 years of history.  The club was here along time gefore you were and will be a long time after.
The club will be...but the majority of the luvvies who nowadays sit in the stands won''t. When the balloon bursts (and not just at NCFC)...vast swathes of these modern trendy spectators will disappear....and the clubs will be pleading for proper fans to return. It''s the club only that I support..not mercenary players...individuals or investors. I''ll be back there when the gloss peels off the grandstands to pick up the pieces ....but I''ll wager more than a few currently on here won''t. For some of us this club is in our blood by birthright...but for most on here it is merely a trendy "interest". We''ll see how many will be left when we are down struggling in League One...as no doubt more than a few will have changed their colours by then.....and may I be so bold as to suggest Manchester United?...............
7.

For a good few years now Huckerby has carried our club on his back. He shows that love and passion of being a Norwich player that we fans all love to see. With Cureton rejoining us and his desire to do well I feel that the two of them may generate an infectious enthusiasm in the team to do well again. With a couple more good signings (which we can now afford) I think that we may be about to ride the crest of a new wave. Anyone else think this could be significant?
Yes I agree but don''t forget Dion too. We now have at least 3 players who would shed blood for our club, lets hope their enthusiam is infectious.
Get real. Why do everyone on this site live in cloud cuckoo land with there rose tinted glasses? Not one player these days play for club loyalty, the last to do that was matt le tissie at soton. Some people have really started to scrape the bottom of the barrel now when trying to find something positve in ending the season in 16th and then selling the player that kept us up!! I think its honurable and loyal of you to see it like this but not very realistic..sorry.
 8.

Same old rubbish question the pro board supporters always throw at you when things get a little messy at delias plaything. FACT- Things are going seriously wrong at CR and i for one would like to see more noise with respect to the boards years of mismanagement from the so called CR faithful. I cant believe after the contract rabble with regards to Earnshaws departure that people still back this folly! Utter stupidity in my eyes but what do i know?
Thanks for that Arthur.. Are you back from holiday now??? Are you prepared to meet up at the Coach & Horses or another pub in the City on Saturday 4th of August if £5million hasn''t been spent by then and get these protests on the road for the first home match of the season V''s Sothampton on Sat 18th August???
Hello Smudge im back. In answer to your question, bloody right i am. If we dont spend anywhere near that sort of money i think its time to start some sort of action. Sick to death of this pussy footing around these issues that are preventing us from being an established premier club. Actions speak louder than words so lets give the board up to the said date and take it from there. coach and horses near the station? Havent been there for a few years but sounds good if we have to take such action. But why oh why are we in such a silly state? WAKE UP EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! cheers.

 10. Ive only been back a few hours and i see its all gone T@TS up. Ive not read many threads yet but i bet the rose tinted brigade are making up some rubbish in defence of the untouchable ones.
 11.
It''s a little bit of a shame that a thread designed to question whether a rumour may be true has a title/headline declaring something as a fact, with an exclamation mark. Still...
Surely your not implying ive started it all up....what A Whittle...never........yawn!
 12. To spain for a week or two so if you thought it was for good, unlucky! Hope you all have fun with the pre-season blues/rumours/speculation. All forms of communication are off so cant wait to see who we''ve signed/not signed, latest rumours ect when i get back.Have fun all. If i had the wings of a sparrow.............................
 13. well ive made it all up then case closed....Next. i give up!
 14.
When people label us as a little club IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY.  We compared to some clubs have some good history like bayern munich but still we are called  a little team.  Why? How can a team that has already sold twenty thousand season tickets be called a little team? WE SHOULD BE A PREMIERSHIP SIDE and that is something Grant clearly wants to make happen. PG also wants to get rid of the little Norwich tag but this wont happen with the current board incharge.  This is not a look at me thread or a Delia bashing thread I just want whats best for the club i love, which is why something has to be done. Ok i will be made to eat a very large helping of humble pie (prehaps if Delia gave me some) if succcess happens this season but i suspect this wont happen. We are going after players that tbh we have no chance of getting (except maybe sharp) however its not strikers we need. We need two central midfielders (safris replacement then a back up for him) a goalkeeper and a centre back. This season is so crucial for norwich. It doesnt really matter if we go up then come straight back down again (we''ll have parachute money although ask leeds fans that money dont buy success). If we dont go up then im afraid then we will be stuck in the lower leagues for a long time to come because of money. Ncfc is  Delialalas plaything and no-one else is allowed to play with it, so if a takeover bid was received (and there is nothing to suggest that one hasnt been made already) then we wont be relinquished out of HER control. The manchester city game made us a laughing stock, and even though we were thrusted into the media limelight IT WAS FOR THE WRONG REASONS. Rant over
I couldnt agree with you more. I recently read that Aston Villa had sold 16000 season tickets so far and are expected to sell 23000, which would be a record!!! I mean bloody hell its the biggest club in Britains second city and ive no doubt we could do that even in the championship. We must shrug off this LITTLE CLUB tag and with the board in charge its not going to happen {unless they read this board and see that there are people who are fed up with us plodding along}. Im actually starting o think they might of got the message what with the current transfer speculation but im hoping its not to late because we''ve had this reputation since Delia and co took charge and its going to take alot to shrug off. PS...From your previous posts i got impression you wanted to get behind the team to the full? Be prepared for some sarcastic and silly replies because god forbid if anyone who supports city and wants the best for them but just cant see it happening under this board really should be careful about what they say on here.
 15.
Funny how we''ve never heard Delia''s opinion on any other transfer target isn''t it? I''m not suggesting for one minute that you''re making this up Arthur but it''s a little bit convenient for me. Ex-Norwich player who claims to love club and is still highly thought of by most fans wants to come back but nasty Delia won''t let him because he used to be a bit naughty. Pretty much ticks every box for those of you who want to dish out more stick to Delia doesn''t it? I think you''re being stitched up or you''ve just made it up yourself.......no offence.
As i said this is all news to me and i have no reason to make it up it was mentioned to me from someone who  used to live with cureton. Apparently thats why he was sent packing the first time round. I agree that even Delia would find it hard to stop PG from signing a player he liked but it could have a certain influence if PG wasnt 110 percent sure Cureton was the right man for city. Why,Shack, do you at first say you are not suggesting ive made it up and then at the end imply that i might of done? Come on, im sure even im allowed to have a post without someone getting there back up because of my views on Mrs smith.
 16. This is a rumour i have heard today and want to know if anyone else has heard the same. I must stress im not saying this is true or not its just a rumour going round that i would like to know if there is any truth to. Right here goes-Peter Grant is a big Cureton fan and very keen to bring  him back, however there is 1 big stumbling block. Delia has said no because "apparantly" when he was here last Delia thought he was too much of a trouble maker { mainly for going out on the beer } and thinks he is more trouble than hes worth. Anyone else heard this as its the 1st time i have. This is not an anti Delia post i just want to know if theres any truth to this.
 17. Dont mind 7REW Millo. His only purpose in life is to create arguments from nothing. Whatever turns you on 7rew. Yes a lot of my posts were not printed. Why? Ask the web team. Yes i feel that through not posting my replys to questions the web team failed me my right to freedom of speech and either intentionally or not made it seem as if i was ignoring questions.
 18. I for one  would love to see the young Billy sharp down at carrow road but before we get to carried away with ourselfs, IF we sell Earnie then surely we''re back to square one are''nt we? Earnie is a great asset to any club and im sure sharp could do a decent job in filling his boots but it still leaves us with a team weak in midfield and central defence and in search of a quality long term keeper. Lets just hope by signing Sharp Earnie might just see it out till chrimbo and then see where we are then. Martin and Brown would be good back up on the bench as i think money spent on Cureton would be better spent else where. Ifs and buts i suppose but we can but hope.
 19. ive had it done to me millo. Im interested in what constitutes inappropriate as it seems that some of my delia remarks come into this. Dont suppose we will ever know though. Never mind each to this own.
 20. See Web team- Vinces comments on the thread: my problems with the board part 2 { page 5 }. Says it all that even the web team believe some crap accusations by fellow posters and choose to prevent posts so you only get one side of the argument across. Me thinks they are too scared  to ruin relations with the club, same as the EDP, Evening News, Neil Adams etc. Oh we cant possibley criticise the board now can we or we must be the same person. "I''m still trying to work from Arthur Whittle''s post if he is Cluck, or it''s just plain sarcasm. But we''re aware that some of this is becoming tiresome and have rejected some posts today." Notice posts mocking the state of my health were allowed to slip the net though, funny that!
 21.

the only times norwich have spent big they nearly double the transfer fee paid on both players. earnshaw and ashton were never going to be major gambles. quality players, at the right age especially forwards are what the club needs now.
I`m not suprised you haven`t had any replies yet. Haven`t you realised yet that throwing millions at new box offices, subsiduary companies, new offices to rent out,a new pitch, stand refits etc. whilst the team declines on the pitch is sound business sense? Whilst investing money on quality players to give us a fighting chance of a £50million promotion (or a hefty transfer profit) would mean inevitably "doing a Leeds"? Or maybe you`re not as brainwashed as alot of people on here. Good post.
I personally couldnt agree more Mr Carrow, Although the way things are going i think we should sometimes risk all and if it goes T@ts up at least we could start afresh. Surely it couldnt be any worse than the mid table dross we we''re in last season.,then again im giving PG a couple of more weeks in the transfer market to change my mind but im not holding my breath we are just not attractive to the players we are linked to as other clubs are and thats the reality of it. Sorry guys.
 22.

Well whoever you are, you are blatantly having a laugh (with yourself I hasten to add - I find it sad). Shall we all sign-up with multiple usernames and bombard this board with rubbish?  That would destroy it for good.  If I was an Archant mod I would ban your username after blatantly admitting you are messing everyone on here around, because if they don''t then it is condoned.
I''m still trying to work from Arthur Whittle''s post if he is Cluck, or it''s just plain sarcasm. But we''re aware that some of this is becoming tiresome and have rejected some posts today.
I do understand that some people might find my posts tiresome but why is that? Im by no means trying to create petty arguements but can you please clear up,is it that im not so sure about the board or is it that you dont agree with my views as there are many people who back the board without giving any good reason for them doing so and they are not accused of being someone else/same person. I said on one thread that i believed this site was one sided and this sort of attitude really doesnt make me convinced otherwise. cheers.
 23.

The real point im trying to make is that the cynicism stems fronm reality and the sooner we face it the better.
It is my belief that the cynicism stems from the reality of the Worthington era, and the present reality is that people have learnt from their mistakes and are trying to make amends over the summer.
I agree to an extent to what your saying and im certainly not righting off PG [although im not entirely convinced by his signings Brown being a panick buy and fotherinham..errm,Lappin average/ok] and we have been linked to players of championship standards but i think to right off anybody with concerns or the way things are progressing [slowly] is slightly blinkered and over optermistic. History proves that when your a Norwich fan it pays you to have your pint empty most of the time and anything more is a bonus.
