  1. fair point, hower i disagree with a few of your judgements, if i may: Ryan Jarvis - Go- Doesnt cut it for me, never has, never will, he reminds me of a slightly smaller chris brown if im honest, i just dont think the guy can cut it, on par with henderson imo. Eagle - Stay - Hucks isnt around forever, and a natural left footed midfeilder??? not many of those about, needs bulking up fair, but a loan would do him the world of good, crossing and link up play exellent. Rusell - Easily the better midfeilder, and always seems to have that little bit of inconsitency, but the guy battles, and we need that in midfeilder, howver its a gerrard/lamps situation, can him and Brellier work together both being like minded holding players. Russell when here before used to get forward and chip in with more goal. i think eventually he will realise that. Brellier - Stay -  Hes a heart legend, he was exellent in scotland, have you seen his video on you tube, when he gets a grip he will be class, i assure you of that.
  2. ok, so we all know there have been times when a really important goal has been scored that never really ever gets mentioned. i think it would be interesting to see which goal you all think was really important but that is never really thought about, get me? ill start   Brian Mcgoverm VS Tranmere - the goal that pretty much kept us in the division at one point, the goal where he went up front and ran through the defence to trip over and score!  (sounds like a certain def we have)   any others???
  3. Now im one of these supporters who will always give Norwich the benifit of the doubt.  I watch them when i can but as i prefer to play on Saturdays instead of watch i can only make assumptions.  However, i believe all this talk about giving Grant time is all ok, but he had half a season last year to implement his ideas and a whole pre season. Look at Sven, i know he made a hash of our international team but he has brought in a load of new players who have just gelled together (expensive, but not major quality compared to the likes of Man utd, Chelsea etc.The play so well together because they work for each other and arnt scared of making a mistake.  I think Grant is so hard on the players that they are scared to take players on, or make that final pass incase of the hairdryer treatment, which come on to be fair we all know happens.  I also think we need to cut our contacts with past Norwich Players, i think a manager needs to come in whos going to be postive but critical in the right way, giving the players confidence. Did anyone see his after match comments at Barnet, "how did you see the performance today peter?"  "Very Dissapointing"  im sorry mate, yeh we played poor second half, but we banged in 5 goals in Half Hr, i dont think he gives enough credit to players.  We need a martin allen, maybe not him! but some who will challenge the board and say, look we need this, we need that, or we are going to fail, no one knows what goes on behind the scenes, but it certanily isnt enough for me. what do you people think?
  4. What goes on at Carrow Road?  I have to say ive been very pro Granty, but im starting to believe the bloke doesnt have a clue!  playing sick players and people with knocks when youngsters could have played.  Why not drop Lappin left back the other night and play chadwick on the left, or for that matter, what about young Robert Eagle/Bally Smart/Spillane etc.  Players need first team experience and what better way to show what you can do. Look at Martin last year, was given a game, and scored, the more minutes the better, i mean spillane looked ok pre season, eagle looked very good abeit needing a bit more strength...but...hes naturally left footed and gets balls in the box which at the mo we are not doing, and persoanally Brown does sh*t all when the balls on the ground, so makes no sense to me, croft looks ok this year but Bally Smart who is slightly more used to playing teams of that callibre may give them the edge and competitivness to get involved and no take the lapsed attitiude of our other 11 first teamers! Com on Mr Eagle, keep up the good work son!
  5. Seriously, no banners, boards or material dangling from the windows, strict rules and regulations! ok, fair enough usual rules but why build a hotel in the corner of a bloody football stadium, stop moaning as you were the idiots that decided to put it there!  like robert chases factories out the back, pointless! good rant
  6.   David Marshall - 7- in all honest did ok, but didnt shine, never really had to do too much, although i think i was one of the many that thought hed let that one over the line! look ok again on crosses, few good blocks Jon Otsomboor- 7- lots of run, good getting back when lost the ball, only problem today is that we he goes forward his final ball lacked the killer touch, still pleasing and looks a good signing. Jason Shackell- 7- in general didnt stand out, had an edgy first half but playing with doc what do you expect. second half, strong, verbal and a real leader. Gary Doherty -6- good headers away and some decent blocks, however far to careless in possesion, and secondly too many hoofs off his shin pad in the air, a liability at times. Adam Drury -7- not too bad, much better then usual, still chased back and worked hard, will someone please tell him if anyone sits close to the pitch to keep the ball on the bloody ground! ahhh! Julien Brellier -5- My mates will tell you i cant stop bigging this bloke up, but really off the pace.first minute could have been booked with a lunge, got knocked off the ball too easily, went down injured after every tackle, needs match fitness, bad! Darrel Russell -7- did very well when urged on in the second half, and needed to otherwise midfield would have collapsed completely first half.  better distribution, but again just lacks that final ball. workhorse though Simon Lappin -6- Looked out of his depth first half, did ok second half but nothing too great, seen enough of him with those max giamello cards!! Lee Croft -7- based on his second half performance, full of run, and really battled well, good strength, and seems fitter, just need to get a full understanding of Jon Ots on his side and it will be a good right side. Jamie Cureton -8- hairdryer treatment at half time i reckon, firework up his backside second half. Really drilled that free kick with some sting and scored a really good winner. Well played son. Chris Brown -6- personally some good touches, but another player for his height and strength that does what he needs and not much else, aint gonna score us a shite load im afraid Subs: Mark Fotheringham - played really well, i thought he got forward. nice little touches, shame he got crocked!  Luke Chadwick -  banana shot first touch but didnt really have to do too much but spread the play and hold it up to waist time. David Strihavka - i really like this bloke, i honestly think hes gonna be a star, intelligent. pace for a big man, and gets in posistions.
  7. Anyone else delighted by the defeat of West Ham by Manchester City. Un....Lu....cky!  glad to see a load of flukey cheats are gonna have their hands full again this season, in fact i no a few of their first teamers are out when they played us but even then i didnt think they looked that special.  i think everyone gets their comeupence and i know its only the first game of the season but how good did it feel, plus i have a few mates who are west ham supporters i quote "look at the quality we have, we are going to kick everyone this season"    Big Fat Hairy Chin on!! Follow the green and yellow!
  8. In general a much better looking city side who seemed to find their feet in the second half, good defending, good work in the engine room, still more needed up front.  David Marshall mom, and how!! David Marshall 10  - four top draw saves, how we have this bloke is beyond me, good organising, good catching, everything we need.   Jon Otsomobor  7 - did well down the right and again got forward more with good pace in the second half that was much more citys. Shackell 7 - second half improvement with some great last ditch challenges, still suspect when those high balls sometimes come over, misjudges headers Gary Doc 6 -  Good first half, pretty quiet second half, relied much on shackell Adam Drury 6 - doesnt set the world alight but did his job better in second half then first Daryl Russel 7 - got stuck in well, good challenges and got better as time went on, will form a crucial partnership with le judge (we hope) Fozzy 6 - worked hard but lacks that killer pass and bit of grit that we need, still very average Hoooozey 6- Poor bloke, worked his socks off again without really doing too much, looked confortable on ball at times but then gave away possesion poorly. Chadwick 7 - did well, got forward and worked hard, still lacked any killer instinct, took a clattering challenge and stood back up, must be over the keith o neil stage! Cureton 6 - full of run, and neat little interchanges, but did nothing to really warrant a gold star! seems to want to do well so that sgood enough for me. Strihavka 4 - good knock downs a couple of times but that was it, took a clatter to the head and didnt do too much, i highly rate this guy and he will come good, but the way he didnt do alot of running shows hes used to a much slower game, again will come good. Subs Martin - didnt do anything Chris Brown- scored and battled hard, hes talking the talk so far but can he carry it on, well done son! dublin - do i need to say anything, his usual self, man mountain. croft- good pace suprisly but not too much after his initial 2 minutes of sprinting, perhaps he was knackered! Hope that gave you some idea!
  9. Im Mr Positive, Every season i say yeh we are going up, nieve!  anyhow, being an Ncfc supporter since i was a kid, and living with a norwich player i get to hear a lot about whats going on. Now i seriously do not believe that huckerby will be going anywhere, i think it would have been better if everyone had just left it be in all honesty.  I mean fair enough, other posts i have read do say that people like Ashton, Etuhwho, Bellamy and Eadie did use the old injury excuse before signing but in my oppinion you look at all these places bar eadie and say that they are all a bunch of muppets. Ashton: Big strong, cashton, slow as a snail, scored some great goals, but in my oppinion didnt do enough for us when he was with us. Francis: Well i think we drove him out with our constent booing and hissing at every touch, imagin you being a player and considering your future and getting bood to hell. Bellamy: great players, never wanted to stay though, Eadie: Legend!  notice all these places left the club at points of downfall or turmoil, Hamilton, Relegation from prem etc.  I think after last seasons cherade of booing our team senseless has first put players off coming to us, and secondly put players accepting new contracts off.  I think we are destined for mid table obsurity, a thing we have caused ourselves too and im also part of this however we are now gonna be nothing more than a crystal palace as it were.  Sorry to sound critical. any views
  10. wrong wrong wrong!! Otsomboor (however u spell is bleedin name) i though showed good attacking pace, willingness to get forward and get involved. Good link up play with chadwick and he played 60 odd minutes, more than louise jean. eagle put in some great crosses and lovely link up play, although needs to strenghten up fair doos. martin made himself a nuisance with some decent touches, and yeh fair enough it was lowestoft, but its so easy when youve got so much time on the ball to try and be silly and pull out all the stops, but norwich were very proffesional and had a good approach to the game. wether its lowestoft or barca you still have to perform and do a job. oh and hughes, what a pile of wank!  he could have played in that lowstoft team.Scared.....YES!
  11. Sir Cliff Richard?? Cliff Richard in a takeover of NCFC apparently hes really keen on Delias Dumplings imagine this at the club, do you think it could get any worse?
  12. watchin the derby on saturday it came to my attention that a few things went wrong, generally ok performance and was a decent game and fair result in my oppionion, although from what grant said to the players after the game i guess he would have been happier with the 3 points!  Anyways, i must admit i havent seen norwich that much this year due to me actially playinf footie sats, but most games iv watched have been pretty recent in to the season, so have had the delights of the ncfc!   I must say from what i have seen i dont believe that mark fotheringham is anything better then carl robinson.  I think as soon as norwich players hear a contract is on offer they suddenly halt their performances David Neilsen ring any bells?   from what iv seen his passing and set peice play is awful and his distribution of the ball is poor, its only worth drilling long feild passes if you can make these passes.  His performance against Ipswich was the worst i have seen, and i have seen him play a few games and if it was football manager he would be gone!! lol any views?
  13. Colin- Personally Believe he will never be any more then average, however if he can get forward more he wouldnt do himself no harm, content, and the only real right back Louis Jean- Bye Gallagher- Always had mixed opinons on him, can always do a job, so i think he will stay Thorne- Bye Mcveigh- Full of talent and being honest on his day probs the most taleneted norwich player, but so lazy its not even worth considering. Henderson- RUBBISH! WITH A PASSION! Halliday- Undecided Eagle- Loan football for 6 months or so would be exellent. Hes a quality crosser and rememver lappin is a left back my trade and essentially hucks isnt going forever, i no for a fact granty knows he can do a job when put in to the team, and rememeber hes gold dust (NATURALLY LEFT FOOTED!)
  14. i have just spoken to my sister and mr eagle about their saturday night in mercy and apparently titus bramble was out in norwich, please please please do not say we are interested in this laughable excuse for a defender, hes ex scum, and hes sh*t basically. who agrees? right move, or wrong move?
  15. What is it with the norwich supporters? fickle?? i think so!  im one of those myself and have witnessed some of the worst performaces i have ever seen as a fan, coventry being a laughing stock personally. Hoever whats done is done, we were relegated, we do not have a premiership class team, we do not have a board or a manager that really knows whats going on, everyone keeps brining up the premiership, ashton, green etc! forget about it, move on, and back the god damn players, they are s**t enough as it is with the likes of us booing them off after every game, and fickle!! we should all grow up, i mean last season when we played inter, we booed francis rotten until he rockered that shot past the post, then he was our fave player again, sorry people hate to moan and i will admit things arnt great, but pull together and stop living in a dream world and face facts!
  16. personally if she wasnt here with us this forum would not be up and running as we would have no club, did that ever cross the peoples minds, shes not a billionaire, she hasnt got millions and millions of pounds to give to a club where managers squander everything they ever have, so yes she should stay with the utermost respect, however, i do believe its time for another book!
  17. People, come on!! wake up! the team is failing, we have no depth, lack quality strikers, and a good center half, it may be stating the obvious but doesnt someone like neil adams after a game just emphasis norwich as a whole, its hypocrtical of the worthy days of "yeh i no we lost 5-0, but the passion and fight is there" load of absolute ball bags!  being a good friend of rob eagle, i said to him yesterday, why the hell didnt he give you a shot on the wing instead of pulling poor chris martin to the left flank on his full debut! where is the sense! doc in midfeild, thats a joke!  I love my norwich and have followed them since i can remember, but does the club think we are idiots to listen to their rubbish.
  18. totally agree on that, the bloke is a waist of space, hes clumsy, cant pass the ball, hits a cracker now and again fair dos, but does any one really rate him?? hes played 1 decent game this year and that was against preston, he does not get forward enough and i dont feel comfortable with him in there, i also still regret us selling mckenzie, my sis goes out with rob eagle and all this talk about them too falling out over those damo rumours is pretty much 95% crap!!  he cant be anyworse then thorne?!?
  19. i think the club has been mismanaged since our relegation dday at fulham, something obviiusly went very wrong there....i have to say worthy left this team a mess with a team low on confidence, but half those norwich players are NOT fit to wear a shirt, no one plays with the pride that they used too.secondly i like peter grant but the club sell ashton and green and then get him straight in, anyone small something odd?  wheres the money gone, and rubbish to all that talk about parachute payments, my sister goes out with rob eagle and i grill him on why the team dont perform, (due to the fans) again, rubbish, we are not paying 25 quid a game to watch a lack of commitment and pride, when anyone does a job, football or not you do it well or your out! cut their wages for a month, see if that perks them up as personally being an avid fan and giving them my full support week in week out, i do not believe that the team plays with enough passion.
