1.
Along with the problem of him always being injured. I really wonder how people think on here. Not in a thousand years would jay Rodriguez come to Norwich or even be a good signing
Why not? He''s not young anymore at 27, so in his prime and needs to be playing. After a long lay off you''d think they''d want him to get some game time. Anyway at least make a suggestion rather than shooting other people''s suggestions down. Who do you think?
 2.

What an interesting suggestion! Sadly, probably never going to be a reality. He does more than often play left wing though so not sure he would be a good option if AN sticks with playing one up top. He also played 12 times last season in the Prem without returning a single goal.
You mean he''s a......... Midfielder!!!!! AN is going to go all out then! Haha. He''ll need to do a good Scottish accent to sweeten the deal.
Where does this idea that AN is obsessed with Scottish footballers come from? We only have 4 Scottish players in the entire squad at last count.....
Mostly joking pal. Although RM is Scottish and he likes to select Whitts and Martin ahead of other options selecting the team. He looks to players who have operated in the SPL, and bought Andreu from Scottish football. I suppose my reference should have been more to Scottish, and Scottish league experienced players.
 3.
It would be a massive coup for any established PL side like WBA/Swansea/Palace to land Rodriguez or Ings even on loan for the season. Ings would be a good signing for a top half team! Talk about realism...We could match every asking price and even offer them a pay increase (Well we can''t really obviously) and they still wouldn''t even consider coming here. They''re both good quality, young, ambitious PL strikers, they wouldn''t even join Newcastle or Villa imo
At 27 off the back of a long term injury is hardly call Rodriguez young mate. Ings yes, but not Jay.
 4.
Plus Southampton have one of the smallest squads I have ever seen. Only 24 players on the books.
After selling Mane and Pelle you''d have to assume they''ll buy players for those positions.
 5.
It will be Olsson.
Adycakes you just don''t know know, who AN will pick, keeps his cards to his chest down low low.... Sorry couldn''t resist The artist is 3 of a kind too. Cards to the chest. 3 of a kind.... Ah come on!!!

 7.
And he''s gonna come to Norwich because?
He''ll be guaranteed first team football, and saints won''t be strengthening a league rival? Not rocket science.
 8. On loan.... Sorry saw loads of striker suggestions and for me this is way more realistic than Ings. Coming off the back of a long term lay off, broke into the England set up a few seasons back, has pedigree in this league (and prem). Saints have Long, Austin and Juanmi. With Pelle having left, you know they will replace him and they have Tadic as an attacking outlet too. Could be a good opportunity to get his career back on track and signing for a top champ club wouldn''t be beyond the realms of possibility.
 9. But he has nothing to prove at this level. He could at the very least, move to a newly promoted club. I''d say go for someone like Jay Rodriguez on loan, with the fact saints have Shane Long, Juanmi and Charlie Austin. Since Pelle has left they are due to sign another forward you just know it.
 10. Is it not weird to have given jones a 2-year deal though? Why not just one while the others are loaned out?
 11. Was on the offy site a bit ago, and found it interesting that Jacob is listed as a midfielder but Josh is listed as a striker...
 12.

I suppose it too much to hope that we keep Brady after signing AP? I wonder if we''ll see Maddison loaned out, or Naismith moved on. Wessi just signed a new deal, and we sure have a lot of number 10''s that have come in this calendar year.
The season is 46 games (plus Cup - another 2!) so it is vital to have a large squad to cover injuries, suspensions, loss of form, etc. The days of just having and needing 11 main players are a distant memory.
Totally Webbo. But 4 players for one position is a lot even for a team in multiple competitions, and we''ll likely do our traditional cup dive early on, leaving 46 games spread between a lot of players still. Surely Maddison with either go on loan or Naismith will leave. 3 is plenty.
 13. How much do we think the youngsters will feature? What would people''s bench look like? I''d like to see Canos, Maddison and the Murohys in and around the squad all season.

 15. Cheers AJ! Sure beats fighting through tens of pages to where one might have last read on an old thread.
 16. Yes and yes. Now ship Naismith out. Maddison, Pritchard and Wessi there is like 3 generations. Awesome.
 17. Why did we let Dec go on loan and bring another keep on board? That means he''s definitely going to be off now after the Charlton loan I guess.
 18.
12 million fee and 45,000 a week!!! Over the 4 years that''s over 21 million pounds... for someone who is 30 and no top-flight experience. Gutted to miss out on him, but that''s crazy, crazy money.
I''m glad we didn''t match this. Villa truly could slip down the leagues now if it all goes wrong. They haven''t addressed their leaky defense either, have they? Saw they sold Clark to NUFC
 19.
What Ron said.
If you and him don''t like it, don''t comment. Simple. Trust me, no one will lose any sleep having you pointlessly chirp in.
 20. Some people, myself included get bored with the off-topic drivel that inevitably transpires on this forum on a 40 something page thread. Also that thread topic referenced a few agreed to Fulham for us to buy RM. What relevance is that to him signing for a totally different club? A totally different topic my man. Why not just have one post whereby we just talk about everything in that case? Come on now.
 21. 3-2 to us. Not a game for a defending masterclass
 22. I agree apples. I think we can still get quality in at a more resizable age to fee ratio.
 23. Don''t be a tw@t. Just letting people know as I saw it in real time. A post thread appears on here every time there''s a link to a player, or a signing is confirmed or goes elsewhere. It''s a forum after all.
