Ever the optimist but I am afraid not a realist.... Hucks has never made it in the premiership...  and Dublin''s 74.  Drury''s an average defender whose not that good going forward, Colin, ditto, and can''t pass, Doherty''sdefensively inept - its a chronic defence, one of the worst in the league - STATS. Safri, is there anyone of his type in the league, he hasn''t controlled the games I''ve seen him in!  Hughes (was a dream of mine to play for Norwich, never good enough -  how did he get a game?), Robinson, Jarrett, Etuhu, and many others, are below the standards NCFC should aspire to. Brown, why did Sunderland let a youngster go if he is that good - and he''s unproven!!!   I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being... but it doesn''t say much that he has gone from Sunderland''s reserves straight into our team when we have someone like Ryan Jarvis who was once highly rated!   Without Earnshaw who will score the goals needed to avoid the drop? Thorne, another that has done nothing at the club....time to go.   I promise you, NCFC really are FAR, FAR AWAY.... Of course there are the youngsters, but sadly their confidence and desire has been ripped out of them due to lack of opportunity because of the constant influx of over-rated carthorses brought in as desperate measures. Spot on, couldn''t agree more.... What happened to our club...... we had some promising youngsters over the past few years whose belief, commitment and confidence have been destroyed by poor management and lack of opportunity.   Its a confidence game for christ sake and the past two managers have not had the bottle to put them in favouring their diabolical and inadequate signings.   As this policy is clearly not working, don''t loan out Jarvis, Jarvis and the others, put them in the team, get the rabble out, get some new defenders to help out and lets build for a positive future.   If they continue with Hughes, Doherty, Drury, Robinson, Colin, Etuhu and Thorne relegation''s a probability, not only because there not trying, but because they are simply not good enough.  Mr Grant, what do you have to lose?  On the point of player development, Norwich used to produce quality players and football, they don''t anymore and certainly don''t deserve the support they get.   Remember Cureton, have we ever had a better second striker if you compare his career since leaving - what a waste! Lack of ambition, mediocrity, can''t agree more.    From what i''ve seen, admittedly from afar, this group of players are pretty limited in ability..... the falacy that we have good players needs putting to bed.   The squad is simply not good enough.   If you can''t play away, eventually the pressure on home performances increases, hence the lack of confidence. We need a new defence in the January Sales..... and a new midfield.... and why didn''t they bring Sutton back when the chance came along.... WHAT A MESS!   Ged

You could say that about any team ..... I keep hearing ''we got excellent players at the club'' ............ WRONG Have seen enough to be realistic... expect bad times before it gets better.... no defence, average midfield, inept tactics away from home are putting pressure on home performances. Worthington played one up front and the penny hasn''t dropped with Grant.   It didn''t work with Ashton and will never work with Earnshaw.  Ged

Sadly, it will be a while before we''re back with the big boys.   Everyone says, they''ve got some great players at NCFC but from what I have seen we haven''t.  Fans debating whether or not Hughes should go shouldn''t be complaining, we are doing pretty well given that quality, of course 25000 fans each game deserve better. Hopefully Peter Grant already appreciates this and will begin the rebuild in January. What a mess Worthington left! 25000 fans each game is awesome.  I''m proud to be a Canary, even if from afar!
