  1. time for hughes, adeyemi and mcveigh to start on sat?
  2. not trying to defend Gunn here cc just wondered after all the rumours bout Gunn just being a figurehead were correctlets hope Lambert can do something, though not sure we have the players
  3. how much was Gunn really to blame? bear with me but after listening on sat and again tonight, bollocks 2 down, no subs made which Gunn used to get blamed for but it has often been suggested that Gunn was just the public figurehead with Butts really calling the shots and i would have to agree with that after sat and today
  4. think this was at half time not after, after game gunny was in directors box chatting to sponsors etc with Butts but no sign of Crook
  5. back four look solid which includes doc!!!! according to my bro who is there gill hardly touched the ball, cody looking bit sluggish, whaley looking the livliest he has seen, should be 3-1 to us apparently
  6. from live coverage by Michael:Michael Bailey:  No Jim, not especially. The CB pairing looks fairly solid. It''s the central midfield pair that are struggling. I''d bring on Hughes second half. 8:19 [Comment From Jim] Was Doherty having a mere when you wasnt updating?
  7. considering he got MOM at exeter doesnt sound to me like defending the undefendable, you obviously didnt see many games last season when i know its not the best example but was one of our better players and we would have been relegated long before Charlton if it wasnt for DocCort looked good at times last season when he was here but guessing you didnt see them either
  8. so the FACT that he ran straight into doc and made the most of it with doc no where to go hence why he didnt get booked as got nothing to do with it. the amount of people on here that obviously dont understand football and how to play makes me laugh
  9. Price, Foster, Phillips, Bennett, Dickson, O''Connor, Hunt, Saunders, Wood, Cort, Weston. Subs: Bull, Bean, KAbba, Taylor, Osborne, Franks, Williams.City: Alnwick, Drury, Doherty, Askou, Spillane,  Hoolahan, Gill, Tudur Jones, Whaley, Holt, McDonald.  Subs: Theoklitos, Otsemobor, Nelson, Hughes, Martin, Lappin, Maric.
  10. Vince are you about as the live coverage that Michael is doing seems to have stopped working
  11. Adams just confirmed that Butts in charge tonight
  12. So neither Roeder, Delia, Butterworth, Crook or the players had anything to do with it then? just love the way people n here spin things to suit their beliefs!!!! im sure half the people on here should be MP''s
  13. i wish people would get over this misconception that we improved when taylor was in the team when doc was injured. we conceded more goals in this period then we did when taylor left and doc cam back in. if you dont believe me look at the stats
  14. Doc will stay in the team and will prove that once again he will be one of our most consistent performers
  15. Totally agree with you Sam, think it would make us even more of a laughing stock nationally
  16. simple question: is the protest still going ahead on Saturday after today''s news?
  17. Thanks but not signed up for canary player as it seems so unreliable. Guess will have to wait for pete to get it put on here, nice busy day for him first day back
  18. anyone know if there is a video of the press conference yet? would like to hear what he has to say as missed it on radio norfolk
  19. Can imagine Butts will leave but Crooky will be kept in charge of the reserves and bringing youth players through
  20. thought mcnally said the chosen one was working at present. If so cant be dowie as he isnt, left newcastle in the summer
  21. im not going to go into the whole argument again but if you look at the stats we conceded more when Taylor was here and doc was injured then when doc was playing
