1. .........says Paddy Davitt. Perhaps a couple of decent signings in the close season would have made the difference! Are you listening Mr Webber? Sorry I forgot, we could n't afford it!

    Alex Tettey

What has happened to Alex? No sight or mention of him of late. A key player earlier this season.

    Norwich v Atalanta live stream

Very impressed with Cantwell last night, likewise with Godfrey. NOT impressed with our new keeper nor Klose whose best days seem to have gone. Playing out from the back is all well and good but to obsessively pass to defenders who have already been closed down by the opposition is a dangerous game!
  4. I am completely surprised though gladdened by the progress our Club has made this year....may it long continue. The administration of our Club too appears to be on a much sounder footing with reductions in pay to a more realistic level, and better players contracted to the Club so that in the unfortunate circumstance that we have to sell we are adequately remunerated. Although I have read the explanation given by Mr Webber re Daniel Farke's contract situation I remain concerned as, the natural course of action would be to sign him up too, in view of the progress made. I sincerely hope that the reason for this is not to enable them to move on 'as a package' at the season end!

Well done Daniel, I was wrong and apologise!

Agree Herman. Let us hope for further good times ahead!

    Beyond Belief!!
You''re twisting what he said, Farke gave an honest appraisal of a performance.  Every commentator has said we looked good over several periods of the game and that Leeds scored against the run of play - through errors at the back, so even your twisted intepretation of what he said is not so far wrong.
BUT....we lost 0-3 and by all accounts were "overrun" for most of the remaining 70m! Our defence/goalkeeper looked vulnerable and we hardly had a shot on target. Farke continues match after match to claim we ''were the better side'' despite the defeats and that wore thin weeks ago. Sideways/backward possession counts for zilch!
  7. Derby Canary

    Beyond Belief!!

Could anybody that was at the match confirm Farke''s claim that Leeds were ''struggling'' and that we were the better side. Again the ridiculous statistics (we won 60% of our duels) and it was only three small errors that prevented us winning.......apparently!!!

    This man is a dreamer!!

"There''s been so many ups and downs since 2004. Not just downs...."

The trend in recent years has been very much ''down''. Even when we surprisingly gained promotion (via the playoffs) our inept leaders had n''t a clue or any desire to retain that status. They knew not where to look for reinforcements for our squad so did nothing with the inevitable result. They were not even capable of organising matches for preseason! They only resorted to the Director of Football role because since McNally nobody on the board would have a clue where to look for a capable Manager.

As it turned out neither did the Director of Football!!!
I rather think that point was lost on you. Try not isolating those few words from the rest of my post.
Agree Nutty there have been ups generally created by individuals long gone. The failure to capitalise on those ups and back those that were responsible for them make the individuals that remain culpable for where we find ourselves. We are now so backed into a corner that it is difficult to see where we go from here.

  10.
Where on earth do people get this idea Huddersfield wanted rid of Webber? They could have sacked him months before we were even remotely interested..
.........and you still continue to defend the regime hogesar! Webber is the Fred Goodwin of football.........given too much power by a clueless Board and the result will be the same! For shareholders read supporters!
It may well be that after ten games of this season the record is just 2 wins in 10. However if the judgement is made because of last season''s form what was the point of giving him 10 games before a judgement in the first place?
Worry not NN I was fully convinced of our problem long before the end of last season unlike those suggesting I was a "binner" to use their delicate phraseology!

The 10 games were certainly not to give this regime a further chance it was to convince the likes of hogesar and his followers of the errors of their ways!

Problem is now a ''result'' against a poor team like Ipswich will convince the same individuals that all is well

"Part of the problem in changing him is youre going to be looking for another manager new to the championship in all likelihood, based on our current playing staff. "

You''ve at last hit the nail/problem on the head hogesar. The deeper this regime became established the worse and irreversible the disaster would become and that''s the very issue I have been prattling about for ages. We are NOW backed into a corner where we have been divested of our assets and left with poor players led by a clueless Management team. As I think you intimate we have burnt our bridges.

The supporters of this Club deserve so much better!

You don''t have ''the power'' hogesar just an unwavering determination to suggest that we, with a different opinion to your own are as you put it ''pessimists'' and that''s the cleaned up version.

As I have said before nothing would make me happier than to see our Club who I have supported for the past 50+ years do well but as I have consistently maintained there is little/no chance of that under the current regime. I know that you, like us, want the best for our Club but I hope that the performances so far will help you and your like, to see reality.

Don''t suppose you fancy a midterm (5 matches) review? Do you still feel as positive as ever about the direction that our Club is heading?
  15. I actually believe that the tremendous loyalty that supporters devote to this Club is unique and deserves much more than this rubbish that is dished up week in,week out

Unfortunately that same loyalty is taken advantage of and abused with an assumption that it will always be there come what may. Sadly that attitude is encouraged by some of the ''individuals'' on here!
  16. They''ll get the message eventually Jim. Sadly it is likely to be when it''s too late! Farke still claims to be winning these games "on points" trailing out his ridiculous statistics as some kind of defence.

    Joy to read KC.

Happy memories that will always be with you.
You come across excited at the prospect of Norwich not doing well after 10 games. I wonder why that is.
Not at all hogesar, you find it difficult to accept my word that I have supported the canaries since 1961. We have seen many ups and downs over that period but I just have no faith in the current owners/board or the people they employ to run the Club.

Believe me nothing will make me happier than if I am wrong.

Why would someone respond constructively to your regularly deconstructive posts?
The whole problem is Hogesar you (and your like with a blinkered view) regard anything that does not back the ''regime'' as ''destructive''.

As I have said previously the proof of the pudding etc so let results/performances be our judge and discuss again in 10 games. I''ll return to you again then for a review if you have stomach for it!
Ah I see, so i''m blinkered but you can obviously see everything thats going on due to your incredible footballing nouse and ability beyond that of most Premier League managers, let alone the small fish in the championship.
I suggest you concentrate on ''Frank Lampards Derby''. You''re much better suited to a team that spends millions upon millions every single season and still manages to f*ck it up every single time.

As I said hogesar let''s review 29th Sept (10 games)!

Sorry to disappoint you guys, "Jim Bell" is not me in disguise. He is merely a decent bloke willing to consider an alternative point of view. Your insults etc are no bother to me although occasionally and as an alternative it might be refreshing to hear some constructive responses to the points raised.
