1. Perhaps you think its the ramblings of some silly old bugger or of no consequence to you but I would appreciate you input on how the PA sounds in your part of the ground. I am in the infill between the River End and the Jarrold Stand and it is awful. If you are at the match on Saturday just give it a moments thought.
 2. Sorry but positive compliments or not, after being on the bench for a couple of matches we sign three players and he is farmed out to Holland, surplus to requirements. Just a bench warmer am afraid who will not get a look in.
 3.
Cantwell has been getting some very positive comments from the manager and the 2nd half of the season in Holland will only help him we have to many options in the position he plays so the loan makes some real sense did you seriously watch scotish football I pray for your soul
I watched Scottish football whenever Aberdeen were on to watch the progress of Maddison just as I try to watch any match that has any of our players who are out on loan. Its what we do
 4.
Not so sure about that Grumpy. The new regime seems to be looking at players differently to previous managers and coaches. They''ve come in not knowing anything about the fringe and youth squads. I get the feeling if Farke had been here last season, someone like Maddison would have been involved rather than being loaned to Aberdeen. Lewis was almost immediately part of the first team set up from day one.
But as you say not knowing anything about the fringe players and yet Lewis was considered good enough but Toffolo or Cantwell weren''t. We had the benefit of seeing Maddison perform at Aberdeen via TV and it was obvious that we had unearthed a gem of a player. As it turned out I think it did him a power of good going there because besides his natural talent with the ball there were aspects of his game that needed attention and it would probably have been a bit too early for him last season. Much as I agree with your point I don''t think it did us much harm farming him out. Now it seems every man and his dog are going into print to tell everybody out there that is interested to come and get him.Pritchard was bad enough but Maddison would be catastrophic for the immediate future of City
 5. He was one of those players that was never going to be considered as a likely candidate for a regular spot in the first team despite lots of supporters wanting to know why we were sending him out on loan. The same will apply to Cantwell. He really was a bench warmer who was lucky enough to get a very small cameo role against Chelsea in the FA cup.
 6. Of course I''m serious. I did say hoping; just as you say you hope; but nevertheless I would hardly call him semi pro.I am sure DF and SW have signed him in the hope that he might just be the answer.Whether Oliveira is considered to be our main striker or not,on his present form and attitude he would not be in my team.
 7. Assuming,or even hoping that Srbeny might be the answer to our current goal scoring problems up front I think I would be hard pressed on current form to chose between Oliveira or Watkins as a benchwarmer. If I had to chose it would probably be Watkins. Of the two Oliveiras resale value will surely go down on his current form.I am not sure which is better, cash in on Watkins or cut your losses to a minimum on Oliveira
 8. It would seem that they were both signed on Wednesday because they have both trained with the players today.
 9. Perhaps its just a case of rejecting the first offer that comes in and if they want him bad enough they will up their offer.
 10.

At the moment I am certainly not a fan of Oliveira but equally I have not been that impressed with Cantrell. I really think he is being used just to make the numbers up on the team sheet.
Good post, best to write him off now as he''s obviously shit. Cheers Grumps.
I think we should write a few more off that are making the numbers up along with Cantrell. Middlestone and Odustine spring to mind...
Yep even those three
 11. Irrespective of the fact of whether we need him or not surely the fact that he has played in those games and been given the chance by experienced managers has to say something about his ability. I don''t think now is the time to be blooding our own and to be honest I don''t think that either Cantwell or Middleton would be anywhere near playing if we didn''t have to get rid of the likes of Pritchard.

I really think he is being used just to make the numbers up on the team sheet.
How many times have you seen him play? At least get his name right!
Not that many if I am honest.Call it a gut feeling if you like but I bet when the lad from Spurs is fit Cantrell won''t get a look in
 13.
It would be especially confusing to pay money for a midfielder who won''t join until the summer and then loan another midfielder.
Very good point
 14. Ever since the season started I have been trying to get Carrow Road to respond to emails and messages to no avail. My problem is the awful PA system at the ground. It really winds me up that I can hardly understand a word that is spoken by those three announcers they have. When the safety announcement is made it is quite audible so the system works perhaps its just a case of getting the EQ set correctly on the mics but I wish to heaven they would get it sorted. A little more personality from the three musketeers wouldn''t go amiss either.
