  1. I should think he knows his marbles
  2. We can confirm Nelson Oliveira has left Norwich City and joined Greek side AEK Athens on a permanent basis. #ncfc
  3. Terrific back four, and I’m sure they will do a good job for us, but we are going to be defending a lot more next season and imo need that extra bit of cover that someone like Alex gives us,
  4. I dont think we get the cover in front of the back 4 that Alex gave us.
  5. 😀 I think he will do well next season, there I've done it! ( there is always the risk that he wont of course )
  6. I'm interested to see how Todd develops next season, he has been over shadowed by our other great young players, but players develop at different speeds and just maybe ...maybe....it could be a big season for him.
  7. https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-daniel-farke-schalke-04-1-6171060 I do enjoy these interviews, nobody ever gets too much praise, a kind word or two, some positive remarks and then a reminder of things that need to be done better. Not much chance of heads swelling in our changing room.
  8. They looked stronger begining of second half, but faded. They must surely have wanted to geive their best players a run out against us so can ony assume it was a strong side.
  9. Well done lads, good performance, looking very powerful on the break👍
  10. Hugely encouraging performance so far, we look to have picked up exactly where we left off last season.
  11. Very impressed with Roberts, beats a man with ease and good vision.
  12. We are creating chances for him with ease.
  13. Pukki could have had 3, clean through on keeper again
  14. Should have got another from Pukki
  15. Haven’t heard a rendition of “all the Germans” yet😀
  16. David Wagner: Putting what we’ve practiced into action against Norwich FC Schalke 04 are set for their first big opponent in Friday night’s (18:30 CEST) friendly. The Royal Blues will face recently promoted Premier League side Norwich City in the FRIMO Stadion in Lotte. “They are a really good English club, one that always moves between the Premier League and the Championship,” head coach David Wagner said about the upcoming opponent. “They have a strong fan base and the stadium is always sold out, no matter if they’re playing in the first or second division,” said the 47-year-old, who got to know the Canaries well during his time in England. A reunion with Fährmann and Pukki For many fans it will be an unusual sight to see Ralf Fährmann standing in the opposing goal. The 30-year-old moved on loan to the recently promoted Premier League side just a few weeks ago and will play against the Royal Blues for the first time since his stint with Eintracht Frankfurt. Fährmann is not the only former Schalke player in the squad for the English side. Teemu Pukki played for Schalke from 2011 to 2013, scoring eight Bundesliga goals during that time. Since then, the 29-year-old striker has become a key figure within Norwich City’s squad. Last season, Pukki scored 29 goals and was voted the Championship’s best player. Josip Drmic, Moritz Leitner and Timm Klose are a few other familiar faces from the Bundesliga that play for the northeastern club, who also have a German head coach in Daniel Farke. Every friendly helps develop the team After six training sessions, the friendly against Norwich marks the end of the short training camp in Herzlake. As a result, David Wagner is expecting his team to deliver a strong performance. “We’re going in having just finished training and it would be nice to see what we’ve been practicing the last few days be put into action during the match,” he said ahead of the match. Wagner stressed that every friendly helps develop the team further, “as we pick up new experiences and information that we can then further work on.”
  17. Just thinking the same thing
  18. Hopefully the end of the Nelson chapter. A wasted talent.
