Karl Pilkington 0 Posted May 11, 2005 .....all you have to do is win?????? and Fulham are crap!!!" They have been the "pearls of wisdom" bistowed on me by Spurs fans at work. I have pointed out this has been the theory for 20 away matches (inc cup) this season thus far, and I''m still waiting. Anybody else been annoyed by fools like this. Admitedly the theory is there and I''m not yet brave enough to forecast victory. But I''m confident the boys will give their all. What is very clear though. A draw will not be enough!!! What ever happens it should be a great day to rival Cardiff..........but hopefully the result will be better. The 5 day forecast says it''ll be 18 degrees and sunny, hopefully that wont change. I would very much love to go ona pub crawl all the way back to my flat in Tooting. I also have the added goal of winning £40. I had bets with a very over confident Leicester fan at the start of the season. They were: - £10 - Leicester wont get automaticlly promoted - £10 - Leicester won''t top 84 points, - £20 - Norwich will stay up, Enjoy the day. OTBC
DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted May 11, 2005 What would a Spurs fan know! They wouldn''t know what an end of season drama felt like if it slapped them in the face!! I''m tempted to put a bet on the three to go down. Palace, Southampton and WBA to go down = 5/4. Worth £20 IMO
westoncanary. 0 Posted May 11, 2005 DD, a message from my heart: Please don''t bet on us staying up, don''t tempt fate, have faith in the lads but don''t get too foolhardy, the gods of football are watching & 1st Wiz is poorly and surely his powers must be diminished & therefore his protection is too. Help..... (I picked a good time to pack in smoking didn''t I?)

Anderz 0 Posted May 11, 2005 I''ve put bets on City a few times and have yet to actually win, so I''m in the ''Don''t Bet On City This Weekend'' camp. Wouldn''t City winning the relegation battle be prize enough over any monetary reward? This isn''t meant as a fierce posting, more tinged with caution. Wouldn''t totally dull the pain - but might. And if your bet is lost...!
