WesHoolahansDefendant 0 Posted July 15, 2013 Of us signing someone while the coaching staff including hughton are away in USA?
Excited Canary 19 Posted July 15, 2013 Likely. I doubt they''d want to do all the training, bonding etc and the 3 matches with only 2 strikers! The purpose of the trip will be to up fitness and develop game plans, pointless if you are missing key players.
Gingerpele 0 Posted July 15, 2013 Would seem quite unlikely, but it''s not Hughton who does the negotiating. But, without Hughton being here to talk to players face to face, show them around colney etc you wonder if a player would put off signing until he could meet the manager. But also, how long are they away for? Can''t be more than 2 weeks? So probably just means any targets who haven''t been contacted and spoken to Hughton etc would be put off for a week or so. Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted July 15, 2013 There''s no reason why we can''t do a signing, I remember we signed Simon Charlton, I think it was, while in Malaysia. CH will have id''d who he wants, negotiations are presumably done by others.
