priceyrice 123 Posted June 10, 2013

I honestly think anyone Hughton signs from Spurs will be a success (ignoring Kane), he knows the majority of those players better than he does his current batch!
eh !he left Spurs in Oct 2007 ...... the same month as Peter Grant left us !would anyone claim that Peter Grant knows the majority of City players better than he knows the players he is currently with ?
That''s very true 1st, however the guy was a coach there for a while and a fair few of their current players would have been coached by him. You could also raise the general argument that a coach does have a better grasp of the players ability than the manager does, that was certainly the case with Culverhouse and Lambert. Anyway, back to your point, here are a list of players who were at Spurs in 2007. A fair few of hem are still there so I think my point still has some credence No. Position Player 1 GK Paul Robinson 2 DF Pascal Chimbonda 3 DF Lee Young-Pyo 4 MF Didier Zokora 5 DF Younès Kaboul 6 MF Teemu Tainio 8 MF Jermaine Jenas 9 FW Dimitar Berbatov 10 FW Robbie Keane (Vice-captain) 11 DF Gilberto 12 GK Radek Černý (on loan from SK Slavia Praha) 15 MF Steed Malbranque 16 DF Gareth Bale 17 MF Kevin-Prince Boateng 19 MF Adel Taarabt 20 DF Michael Dawson No. Position Player 22 MF Tom Huddlestone 23 FW Darren Bent 24 MF Jamie O''Hara 25 MF Aaron Lennon 26 DF Ledley King (captain) 28 DF Alan Hutton 31 GK Tommy Forecast 32 DF Benoît Assou-Ekotto 33 DF Ricardo Rocha 34 FW Andy Barcham 35 DF Dorian Dervite 36 FW Simon Dawkins 37 MF Danny Rose 38 DF Troy Archibald-Henville 39 DF Jonathan Woodgate 44 DF Chris Gunter

Are they still in financial difficulties?
Webbo118 0 Posted June 11, 2013
Rose knows he can command a regular starting place in, at least , a lower mid table Prem team, so I seriously doubt it would be us with Garrido No 1Bentley? I''m not so sure about him anymore. Where do people see his best position, and would it be enough to play more, than not?Huddlestone, I like a lot. Re the Bentley argument, I can see him playing a lot, as long as the injury/medical situation would be sorted , and of course it would be prior to any possible signing.Bostock, no for me, for reasons already stated here. You never know though.............
On the bench !!
