unique 466 Posted April 6, 2013 We all knew going into the game that Michu was Swansea''s main threat. The fact that he could have easily come off the pitch today having scored four or five goals, either says he is a player of immense quality at creating goal scoring opportunities, or the plan to nullify him was either non-existent or simply not followed.Norwich could easily have been hammered today. It was never made clearer, than today, that Swansea are so much more effective than Norwich, because they have Michu and we have Hoolahan......chalk and cheese. Mister Chops 7 Posted April 6, 2013 If you don''t mind me saying so, that''s a rather poorly thought out post.
ron obvious 1,711 Posted April 6, 2013 When Swansea first got promotion they didn''t score for a long, long time. However they didn''t panic, stuck to their guns & found ways to nick the odd goal, improving as the season went on.This season they have the perfect player for them, who can finish off their clever passing around the box with deadly accuracy. That accuracy has gone off the boil of late (witness this afternoon), but Swansea were always going to have a lot of possession today & unfortunately our defending was rather lax & he managed to convert one of his chances.Wes was poor, but he wasn''t the only problem. However, the character & determination of the team pulled us through & could have brought us a win - at one point in the 2nd half we threatened to overrun them.I think Hughton was going for the win. I think we may have reached a turning point.
ISAWRR 0 Posted April 6, 2013 They have Michu. We invested in Lucciano Becchio.
