ROBFLECK 134 Posted January 28, 2013 ...to bring in a good new player... I mean that would really soothe the nerves wouldn''t it? I know it is not that easy, but it''s clear that the fans (including me) are very very nervous... The question is would it be a good move for the squad, ie the players? What would their reaction be when they hear new personnel has arrived? It''s a balancing act...would you wait with announcing a new arrival?
BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted January 28, 2013 You could say that about any squad at any time. I would imagine that load of flops against Luton are expecting new blood in any case after their woefulness.
Joanna Grey 0 Posted January 28, 2013 No different to any transfer window over the last couple of years. All those players that have been brought in to ''give the lads a hand'' have for the most part been better than the first team players at the time. It''s a fact of life for a lot of footballers, they will just have to deal with it.
a1canary 0 Posted January 28, 2013 I agree with the OP. No-one could say the perfect antidote to the Luton game wouldn''t be for Gary Hooper to walk through the door on Monday morning. Then it''ll all be forgotten and psychologically it''ll feel like wiping the slate clean and starting again. It''d be the perfect lift that the team needs.I''ll settle for Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday morning as well though!
