Brilliant Everton preview

Recommended Posts

After the hilarious bitter rant on the ManU site that referred to Holt as a "boulder", this altogether more classy effort nevertheless joins in the name calling. This time it''s Grant Holt the "long armed farm hand"! But gracious enough to recognise his efforts against them in both games last season. And to bemoan the missed opportunity for an "elbow off" with Fellaini. Overall a well informed and amusingly written analysis.

As you say, excellent and extremely well informed, a cracking read.I think they are a bit vulnerable, and I really think we can get something out of this game, very pleased Fellaini is missing.

No question it''s an ideal time to be playing them. They have been talked up and up and up, with good reason as they''ve been excellent. But now they''ve had a defeat and they''ve lost their talisman and yet they are under huge pressure to simply get back on track against us. It''s expected. So it''s the first big test of their supposed new status as a genuine top 4 or 5 club. Will they pass it?

The great thing about us this season is that we haven''t lost that element of surprise, because we''ve completely changed our style of play. So the game up there last season will be of no use to them in terms of knowing what they are facing. Last year our opponents had to work out how to deal with dynamic and relentless attacking - this year they have to work out how to avoid getting washed up on the rocks of our defence.

Back to the preview article, it says Bradley is the "most dribbled" player in the league. What on earth does that mean!? The comment after that is quite funny too - you kind of know what they mean!! Good old Brad!

That is very good - do we have anyone writing about future opponents and the tactical impact it might have on Norwich in this manner?  It shows again the weaknesses in regional news reporting that blogs by fans like this exist.

This is a funny read too. There''s a bit of over confidence creaping into the scousers me thinks....

"There won’t be many away fans present as football is a distant fourth favourite pastime in East Anglia behind sheep herding, barge drag racing and f*cking your cousins."
