dpit 1 Posted December 10, 2012 “We certainly won’t lose sight of what the realities are. We assess every game and that is the only way to do it. We are still in a group of teams where it is still all about staying in this division."Will this example of level headed humility be met with the same degree of animosity that is levelled at people on here who post similar statements? Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted December 10, 2012 I didn''t like Hughton''s humility when we were losing. But when we are winning it just comes across as classy.Besides that, he is absolutely correct to take this approach.
Herman 11,178 Posted December 10, 2012 During the manure game he was going ballistic at someone and it threw me for a moment. He is normally cool as... Great manager to keep it calm but he obviously has a hardened edge to him.
Row D Seat 7 0 Posted December 10, 2012 I don''t want the cup to get in the way like it did for Liverpool, Blackburn, West Ham and Birmingham in past seasons. I''d like a win tomorrow night, but if their was a choice I''d prefer 3 points against Wigan. The feeling I have is how much the weather might play a part. If the weather is as bad as they say, then games might be called off and fixtures may get clogged up. At times like this you don''t want to have a game overload and being in the semi''s will mean two extra games, then one for the final if we progress.I''m delighted at our recent form but we are far from safe and I just don''t want this cup run to spoil our league form. dpit 1 Posted December 10, 2012 Classy indeed. Humility in the face of achievement, reason and perspective in the face of problems. Some on here could really learn from our manager.
