Dr Zeuss 0 Posted October 29, 2012 I was a bit surprised to see that these went on sale as far as I am aware without prior notice, earlier today. I couldnt get through on the phone so I went to the ticket office at lunchtime. All I could get was a seat about 40 rows from the front in block 47 which from the Saints website loks like the corner infill. The ticket office assistant couldnt give me any intelligent response to questions about whether we had a full allocation, was almost sold out etc etc.I was hoping to get a seat in blocks 44 or 45 but if we werent given or didnt take the full allocation maybe Saints only gave us tickets from the corner blocks and not those nearer to the area behind the goal. Interested in anyone elses experience. Normally I dont worry too much but after getting the very back row at St James Park recently I''d hoped for a slightly better experience for this one. Would be surprised if the club have risked taking the full allocation given it''s midweek and a bit of a trek, though perhaps we''ll have the option to take the additional block(s) if these sell quickly, not sure what Southampton''s crowds have been like this year as to whether that would be possible.
