Phyxius 0 Posted September 29, 2012 Lambert instilled the team with a never say die attitude which saw fight to the last second an caused us to snatch victory at games like Southend, Reading, Millwall and Derby. Today the lads looked empty, dejected. Even at 5-1 you still have your pride to play for. It was a complete capitulation. The loss of this mentality worries me more than Hughton''s apparent ineptitude.
vlad666 205 Posted September 29, 2012 I also thought we seemed fitter under Lambert. I suppose that''s what happens when you swap bike rides rather than a tough boot camp in germany...
JF 694 Posted September 29, 2012 I think the evidence of our unprepared pre season was there for all to see against Fulham.

drurys testamonials V 15 0 Posted September 29, 2012 If that''s playing with passion, I''m the pope! Lambert could inspire passion in a Saturday league team to play in the Premiership. That was one of his major strengths. Getting a team to play beyond their expectations.
