I still think we will finish 17th...

Recommended Posts

But.........It is worrying that our new Manager has lost the fans already, I''m wondering if he has lost the dressing room to.  If I worked for a company and my manager kept constantly putting me down saying the other companies in his field of work have better quality staff than he does, I know I''d feel very unhappy for the comment made. I also think we should have kept Ayala and had him fighting it out with the other defenders, him and Sebastien Bassong would of been a good pairing, as I do not like Turner at all. However I do think we will finish 17...  It doesn''t stop making me feel sad at the moment however [:(]

I agree that Hughton has this negative talk about him, always talking how good the other team is, i doesn''t give me much confidence, it''s like we are beaten before a ball has been kicked.

I agree. There is no reason why we can''t survive, but Hughton needs to start making some serious changes now.  I think it is going to be a long hard season, but I think that we will do just enough.  I don''t fancy doing a QPR and needing to go to the Etihad last game of the season needing points though. Hopefully that is a lucky omen if it does go down to the final day.

I don''t see how Hughton praising the other teams is negative talk, you see most managers doing the same thing.I''d happily take 17th place now, hate having to rely on other teams to do badly, but I hope Reading, QPR, Southampton, Villa and Wigan all struggle this season. Nothing really against those teams, but for NCFC to survive that''s just the way it has to be.

Hughton hasn''t lost the fans, you need to remember this forum is where people like to come and have a moan and it''s the voice of the minority, so much rubbish is spouted on here its unreal and it can actually have a poisonous effect on the club, things like the Tierney and Morison rumours, Francis and McKenzie rumours etc can have detrimental effects with players happiness and therefore their performances. Negativity doesn''t create positivity and it does nothing good for the club, I remember where we were 4 years ago and right now I am just enjoying the ride, no I don''t think we''ll go down because the performances have been good, once our key players are back we will be fine. Also laughable when people moan about Hughton praising the opposition, I mean, what exactly are they expecting? Hughton to slag them off and say how rubbish they are etc only to fire up their players and put extra pressure on ours..... its a joke, have people not heard these opposition managers praise us as well????

Have you heard an opposition manager say negative stuff about Norwich this year???? No you haven''t, and you wouldn''t so stop using that as a stick to beat Hughton with

Meh. I''m not bothered what he says to the press, most managers lie through their teeth during press interviews (Arsene Wenger would be blind if he really hadn''t seen so many incidents). I''m more concerned with what he says to the players behind closed doors.
