I cant accept CMartin so I would happily lose ward or lappin.

Whittaker? Iam non-plussed with that suggestion. Why are you so against a versatile Scottish international who has played so many times for Rangers, including in the Champion''s League, Zipper? 

 

I think he''s a find and will prove his worth when fit again, so many fans have dismissed him already and I just cannot see why.

 

Of that list I, personally would have wanted Martin C. loaned out or otherwise, but after yesterday''s non-event I feel we might need him. Simon Lappin, everbody''s favourite reserve might well be on his way at last.

 

P.S. 1p5wich just paid £1.5m for a forward from the Posh, Paul Taylor. I laughed at this initially, but having seen a YouTube clip of some of his finer moments, now think that we could have done worse ourselves. Nippy, tricky little player who would seem to be capable of partnering Holt effectively. Considering we ended up with just a promising youngster on loan, I suppose my sights are set lower now than they were last week.

We don''t need Lapps to cover LB this year and he''s never going to get past Pilks, Surman or even Snoddy on the left (never mind anyone in the centre) so I just don''t see where he fits in anymore even if he is a good pro.Similarly, we have 5 centre halves (7 if R.Martin and Whittaker cover there) meaning that Ward or Barnett are potentially surplus, and I don''t think there''s a lot between them tbh, both have key weaknesses but both can have strong games as well.Even with Kane now onboard, I see value in having C.Martin as he offers something different than the rest and isn''t likely to be on big wages either.So I''d say Lapps as first choice to go, followed by Ward/Barnett (depending on who CH prefers).
