NWC 318 Posted February 26, 2012 Where are those 2 qpr fans??You know the ones who didn''t like it when I said their new players weren''t much cop.The ones who said "Those 6 points you got against us will be all that you have at the end of the season" !! (How we laughed...)Out of their new 5 players, 2 have been sent off and are suspended, 2 have been ineffective and one has done allright (Taiwo). As for that miserable old goat Hughes - he''s just like Warnock on a higher salary! Always moaning about his players and blaming everything else. The results are the same though - QPR are going down !!!And it''s not just the vindictive sod in me speaking, or a case of mocking the afflicted; I am truly glad that QPR are struggling as they are indicative of what is the wrong way to run a football club: A high profile owner using his investment to promote other business activities and boost his own public image, a manager who relies on his reputation rather than his results, a team full of overpaid and under performing journeymen, and a mediocre small stadium which is never full. Position = Relegation Fodder.Compare that to our story where we have solid, comitted reliable owners, a manager who is quite frankly one of the best around, a team who are a TEAM, playing for the manager, the fans and each other, and a full house near as damn it every week!! Position = Mid Table Premier League.Aren''t you glad you''re a city fan ???
star_manic 0 Posted February 26, 2012 i will admit to having a quiet chuckle at their misfortunes. since hughs arrived, played 6, won 1, drawn 1, and the rest? well do the maths yourselves, but it is not healthy reading for them.[:|]
priceyrice 133 Posted February 26, 2012 QPR have become the club i love to hate atm, started when Warnock took over and then the rivalry between our two clubs seems to have intensified! Surely they sell out that little stadium every week though, they are a london club with an 18,000 seater, they must be able to sell out. Also is Taiwo injured, saw he got substituted yesterday round 70 mins, is that thier best player out? ChrisEllis 0 Posted February 26, 2012 For me it would be justice for QPR to be relegated. It was appalling that they got off so lightly for their cheating/manipulative antics last season and it would be only right to see them fall back and hit the Championship hard.Ferdinand, in my opinion, is a show-boat owner. If QPR get relegated, he''ll be looking for an exit strategy. I don''t hate QPR, but I have a true disliking for what they represent in the game.
