im spartacus canary 0 Posted February 1, 2012 most football pundits and a good proportion of city fans expected a hammering likethat every match... its bound to happen now and then it did last season
Aggy 944 Posted February 1, 2012 I think it says a lot about the sort of team/spirit that Lambert has created, that this sort of performance doesn''t cause too much of a fuss. Who doesn''t now think we''ll come out all guns blazing in response and put a decent run together? It''s what we have done after every poor performance under Lambert, and no doubt it will happen again!
Yellowfuture 71 Posted February 1, 2012 The only people to come out of this with any credit are the poor fans that did the trek, I am so pleased I decided not to go. We were poor in every position, and Lambert`s body language seemed to typify the whole performance. It happens though doesnt it, we are not a great team but a good team that works hard, if the performance level drops then we lose. It will happen again for sure, but I would expect us to see the work ethic return on Saturday and the energy and quickness of thought that was lacking tonight to reappear. Looking forward to Saturday already!
