Is Bradley Johnson any better than Korey Smith?

Recommended Posts

I''m not sure myself.

Also all you Wes lovers will not agree but I think he should only be an impact sub for the last 20 mins or so as he rarely influences the game in a positive manner at this level until the game becomes stretched.

I have a feeling Lambert has brought Howson In to fill his role.

Johnson is better than Korey Smith, otherwise Smith wouldn''t be out on loan, and he wouldn''t have bought Johnson in the first place.

Wes lovers? Think Lambert is one of those to be honest, best get your message to him, he''s doing it all wrong I know, how much longer can we go on like this?

Standard reply from You. People are allowed a different opinion to you and dare I say it they are also allowed a different opinion to Paul Lambert.

Football and life are all about opinions and you seem a very blinkered character who does not appreciate that it would be a very boring existence if we all had the same opinion and were not allowed to deviate from it.

Paul lambert has done amazing things for this club and every Norwichh fan is 100% behind him however we are allowed to debate and contest his decisions and opinions. It does not mean me are not fully in support of him.

You my friend are the very essence of a keyboard warrior.

FOR GOODNESS SAKE.

I never said your opinion is wrong, I GAVE YOU MY OPINION. I didn''t say mine is right and yours in wrong did I? Whats the point in you posting, if your not going to accept people have different opinions, and then moan that its what i''m doing?

If you don''t agree with me, argue with me, don''t say I''m a keyboard warrior (which is a stupid term and a load of b*llcks) and that i''m not letting you have an opinion, its a load of rubbish. I fully respect your opinion, and was just giving you mine in return.

To be honest, last night was poor as everyone knows, but Johnson looked fatigued last night more so than others, and he seems to have this horrible habit of being beaten by a player and then just watching him score, last night with Sessegnon, against Everton with Drenthe, maybe it''s a concentration issue or maybe the whole team had an off day.

Still, great season so far and bash hoolahan all you like, still one of our best players.

Don''t try and back track now, you clearly imply in your original post that i should not be questioning Lambert''s opinions and that his decisions are the gospel.

You standard reply to messages on here that differ from your opinion are to mock them as you did with me in this instance. The fact that you now don''t even have the mental fortitude to stick to guns when challenged is quite honestly pathetic.

No, I don''t mock anyone.

I gave Lambert as an example, because I feel the best argument for Hoolahan is the fact Lambert has seen fit to play him in 24 out of 26 games this season.

I question Lambert''s decisions myself sometimes, but I am fully aware that he knows a lot more than me (and all of us on here). If you felt I was mocking you, then maybe you shouldn''t be posting on an internet forum. Your obviously incapable of accepting other opinions yourself, and have had to resort to accusing me of doing that.

My opinion is that Bradley Johnson is better than Korey Smith, and Hoolahan is a great player. How I convey that is up to me, I didn''t mock you and I didn''t say that your opinion is invalid. Your opinion is just as valid as mine. And Paul Lambert, well he''s the manager, and while he''s obviously going to get things wrong, and as fans we have some kind of right to question/discuss/disagree/agree with his decisions, his actions surely speak louder than our words?

Keep trying to twist things, you have backtracked so far that you are now almost trying to use that points that I raised to your original response as your own!

From what i have seen since i joined the board you regularly try and mock people on here for having different opinions to yours, you are not alone in doing this by any means, however you don''t like being challenged about.

Please explain how I mock people? I would love to know so I can stop doing it....

And how have I backtracked? Explain that as well. Your making these statements, but not backing them up with any evidence.

I''m not twisting things in anyway.

I''m perfectly happy to accept yours and everyone else opinion, wether if goes against mine (or Lambert''s) I do NOT MOCK people, I do not think my opinion is better/right/more valid than yours or any others. If you see my posts in that way, well then the problem is yours. Unless you have specific examples of me ''mocking'' you or others, which I''m fairly sure I don''t do, I just give my opinion, if it came across as very blunt, them i''m sorry, but all I was doing was giving you my opinion, surely thats what you wanted when you started this thread? and your still yet to counter it with your own, your just having a go at me for no reason what so ever.

Just look at your initial response on this post, which is a follows:

Johnson is better than Korey Smith, otherwise Smith wouldn''t be out on loan, and he wouldn''t have bought Johnson in the first place.

Wes lovers? Think Lambert is one of those to be honest, best get your message to him, he''s doing it all wrong I know, how much longer can we go on like this?

Mocking -

Comments such as " he''s doing it all wrong I know" and "how much longer can we go on like this?" are prime examples.

Well thats was just my (obviously failed) attempt at sarcasm. I''m sorry its caused this argument, I did not intend to mock you, or belittle your opinion, and I did not intend to back track in anyway. I hope you can accept my apology and we can move back to your original point, which I will now try and answer without resorting to sarcasm.

I don''t think K.Smith, at this stage at least, is better than Johnson. I think he can offer something we perhaps need, the energy, ball winning capabilities and perhaps passing/attacking ability all rolled into one. I''m not convinced Smith is yet quite up to the challenge or competing more effectively than Johnson (Or Crofts) in the PL. He seems to have started well at Burnely/Barnsley (can''t remember which one he joined on loan), hopefully that shows he is still progressing, and can build upon his great League One season, and pretty decent (although limited) effort in the Championship. Him and Adeyemi i''m sure will be competing in the Norwich midfield in the future.

As for Hoolahan. I''m fully aware he appears to be a love/hate kind of player. For me I still don''t quite understand how people can think so little of him. Last night he wasn''t great, but who was? Perhaps he is a luxury because he needs others to play well around him. But when were playing well, Hoolahan is normally at the centre of that for me.

Just for the record bringbackandyhughes, no Bradley Johnson is better than Korey Smith at the moment, but Korey Smith has the potential to be a lot better than Johnson, but its about the here and now, Johnson had a poor game last night but will bounce back and Smith is getting some much needed experience on loan.

GingerPele has had a bee in his bonnet for well over half a year now, he used to be a good young poster who I enjoyed reading and contributing towards his point of view. Not that I want to divulge into his personal life but I think something may have happened as he is now a very angry boy and even the slightest challenge of his opinion will be met with the usual ''I am fully entitled to my opinion'' or ''I am not challenging your opinion'' etc etc

What Gingerpele fails to realise is this is a football message board, sometimes his posts can come across as arrogant or seem like he is mocking but I think he is just a mixed up teenager who just uses this board as a release mechanism. Don''t fight against us GP, fight with us, we can help...honestly!

Seriously, i''m not an angry teenager (i''m not even going to be a teenager for much longer). I don''t mean/want to come across as arrogant or mocking, I don''t think my opinion is more valid, I don''t want to challenge people in the way you say I do who don''t agree with my opinion.

And I would have thought my posts have been better in the past couple of years... I used to just post one line rubbish, with very very bad spelling and punctuation (which still isn''t perfect).

I''m obviously doing something wrong, because I get into these silly petty arguments far too often, and far to often get accused of various things.

I am fully aware this is a message board, for people''s opinions, and if I really do just come across as thinking my opinion is right, and not accepting anyone else''s, I won''t post on here any more... (and thats not being dramatic, if thats what i''m doing, when I don''t intend to be doing that, I should probably just stop.)
