beardface69 0 Posted February 12, 2012 Has grant Holt now surpassed the legend that is hucks ? Going back to the last promotion season when hucks was the spear point of us winning the league and also done his best in the prem to keep us there ! No one could eva doubt the great hucks but with 9 LEAGUE GOALS and still 13 games to go surly this is a massive 2 fingers up to all the city fans who expressed there thoughts about him being not good enough ! keep it up legend
JF 694 Posted February 12, 2012 I was thinking this exact thought last night. And my conclusion was that he is now the ultimate city legend. To be the tailsman of the club from it''s lowest point for 50 years to it''s highest in nearly 20 years. Fantastic achievement
Aggy 766 Posted February 12, 2012 He''s got to be up there. Whatever criteria you use to define a legend, he''s pretty much there. He has scored goals for fun, he has had a huge impact on the club, he''s captain fantastic, he''s a character off the field as well. The only "legend" criterion that perhaps goes against him is the length of time he has been here. But he''s still only going to be 31 at the end of this season, so could easily have been here 5 or 6 years by the end of his career. If that happens, and he continues to perform like he has done so far, then it''s difficult to see anyone else who beats him!
