morty 0 Posted January 10, 2005 Tired old journey man or up and coming exciting young prospect, which would you choose?? It looks like Bryan Robson is carrying on where be left off at Boro. We should count ourselves lucky that our club is taking the pragmatic long term view regarding our team building, not just a quick fix.

Old Boy 0 Posted January 10, 2005 He was on £35k a week at Everton - good wages for a 45-year old lol. And Kanu''s on £40k, so the money''s leaking away. Now watch Forest get promoted and WBA relegated...
Saint Canary 0 Posted January 10, 2005 It does look like he''s continuing his work at Boro. He is aiming to sign Italians Iuliano & Delvecchio to assemble another squad of foreign mercenaries looking for one last big pay day.
Ayrton Twigge 0 Posted January 10, 2005 This is where we differ so much from West Brom. There clearly isn''t a well thought through plan in place, bearing in mind their purchases back in the summer too. Its beginning to look desperate and panicky. End result could be relegation with a hole in the account to boot.Contrast this with us, we''ve clearly got a sensible strategy in place and are prepared invest when and if the time is right.Sorry guys, but there were a lot of posters, you know who you were, who were ranting about " The Doomcaster", the board et al , having no ambition. Think its clear we have. And WBA will show what happens if you shoot from the hip..
