Bill 1,788 Posted March 31, 2011 From what it appears they will be closing at 4pm on the 21st. If it''s true then it would suggest that City fans might be better to drink up here, or halfway, before heading down to poorman road.Unless there are some delights in that grubby little slum that have remained hidden until now and so will entertain City fans for over three hours. It has been a while since I have had the privilage of walking aroung that town, un escorted, before a match. Does it still exist?
Bill 1,788 Posted March 31, 2011 I have not the slightest idea. My contact with that rathole has been confined to Derby games and having a dump when the train was waiting in ipswich station (in the old days). On the day we are staying over in a hotel, a bit out of town, so will only travel in at the last moment and likewise out again. ur just a man in a jacket 0 Posted March 31, 2011 i have mentioned in previous posts, years ago they opened the station hotel for us as its opposite the station and easy to put us straight in there. if they decide not to let us in any ipswich pubs would make sense drinking down riverside then getting train later on
