Poor Performance tonight....

Recommended Posts

From some fans.

I heard groans from a misplaced pass after eight minutes, eight effin minutes. Any football fan should know that after eight minutes against a side like Doncaster we should have been at least two goals up, maybe more. In fact Lambert should have already been warming up the subs after eight bleedin’ minutes working out which of our key players needed a rest as we should have had it sewn up by then.

I couldn’t work out which players’ turn it was to be scapegoat tonight as most of the twats in the crowd were still working out whose deserved a booing most for missing a tackle, losing the ball or not playing at 110% of their ability as almost all the team have been doing this season.

The players had played a massive game on Saturday, had given their all and had to raise their game again tonight. They did their best but it didn’t happen. It wasn’t for lack of trying or desire. Some players did better than others. Some even made mistakes which according to the twats in the crowd, they’re not allowed to do. Of course the twats in the crowd have never made a mistake when they’ve played sport. Or had a bad day at the office. Ever.

In fact I suspect the twats in the crowd have never tried to do their job being distracted by another twat near them screaming at them every time they make a mistake. I wonder how they would like that?

Sport is a strange game, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes we win when we’ve not deserved to and sometimes were lose when we could have won. And sometimes we draw.

But we gained a point. We are now further away from the 7th placed team that we were at 7.45pm Tuesday evening. That’s progress, one small step at a time.

Why was the crowd filled with twats tonight? Was it half term or was it the supporters who were lured to Carrow Road to see an easy kill of a team with most of its squad on the treatment table? God knows.

If you came along to see an easy win you should have stayed at home to watch Man Utd. Or Chelsea. If you wanted to see an easy kill, you should have tuned into the history channel to watch the Christians vs the Lions.

And as for the twats that booed at booed at 90 minutes, maybe you should join the other twats that leave after 85 minutes so by the time you boo at 90 minutes you’ll be in Morrison’s car park so the other supporters or the team who have played beyond our wildest expectations this season won’t be able to hear you.

Looking forward to Barnsley on Saturday where we may win or lose, or draw, but at least we’ll have some real supporters there.

There can''t have been that many fans booing. We stayed till the end as usual, were there till about 10 minutes after the game finished and you couldn''t hear any booing from our seats in the Jarrold. So where was the booing coming from?

All through the game, I heard a lot of support and singing from the Barclay, and even a little bit from the Jarrold, but honestly, no boos. I know others heard it, but it can''t have been many people doing it.

We are all real fans, or we wouldn''t have travelled from far and wide on a cold February night to fill the ground. Those who for whatever reason have to stay at home but who listen to all the matches on the radio and feel just as much for the team are also real fans, in my view.

Oh crap! Another thread that should have an "Abandon Hope all who enter here" warning on it. Another lets all feel as shit as we possibly can thread. Another debate about who the real fans are and another lets have a pop at the fans who paid to see 90 minutes but decided to only watch 85. Another thread about a small minority doing something the majority don''t approve of.

Another entirely predictable thread. Lets have 3 or 4 more pages of angst.
