Mr Brownstone 0 Posted January 1, 2011 Interesting point that someone made on Canary Call. Much was made in the summer of the ''step up'' to the Championship yet every single one of our outfield players that featured today played in League One last year, makes the result today all the more impressive. Yellowbeagle 0 Posted January 1, 2011 To be fair it was widely recognised last season by alot of the pundits and opposition managers that we were a championship standard club in league 1. Although i guess thats easy for jounalists and the like to say when a team is doing well. Personally i think it''s about players attitude as much as anything hungry players wanting to improve with average abilty from league one are more determined to do well than alot premiership reserve players with better ability but a lazier work ethic and little playing experience of what a 46+ odd game slog the football league season is. Leedscanary 339 Posted January 1, 2011 Not only that, but all 3 promoted clubs from last year are in the top 6. The players are probably more hungry for success after tasting the "delights" of League
