Still buzzing here, suspect will be for a while now!

We need to "think big" next season-Lambert & Karsa will be working on the CCC battle plan almost straight away, but they''ll haev a fair idea of who the team will need to be built around next season.

Promotion probably means we''ll keep hold of Wes. He likes it here and the clubs that were linked with him-Leeds, Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace-aren''t going to be any better off than us next campaign, and, in the case of Leeds and Palace, MIGHT be a division lower.

Drury has been there and done it in the CCC. He''ll be a key player next year. So too Smith, Holt, Russell and C Martin, with Adeyemi and McNamee becoming prominent, along with Spillane and Whitbread settling into the defence.

I''d like to think we''ll still play the diamond formation next year as well, it suits Wes, the game in the CCC isn''t so frenetic and we won''t have teams coming at us with all guns blazing anymore-because we won''t be one of the "big fish" anymore, which can only be a good thing.

Holt will get goals, have no doubts about that.

Players coming in? Undecided on another season for Forster yet, how much longer do we hold Rudd back? If he is good enough, we should be playing him, And lets, whilst we''re on the topic, not have all these fantasies about Lewis coming back-he won''t want to, and we can''t afford him, also, Rudd might just be a better player than him anyway!

Lambert-well, he''ll know when to move on, but it won''t be yet. If he establishes us in the topo 6-8 early on and keeps us there, he''ll have more than his fair share of admirers, but, if thats where we are and we have a chance of going up, he''ll stay.

We''ll probably have a couple of high quality loanees next season as opposed to about a dozen so-so ones, and I wouldn''t be a tad surprised if one of them isn''t from Man Utd.

A possible 4-3-1-2 of...

Rudd

?-Spillane-Whitbread-Drury

Smith-Russell-McNamee

Wes

Martin-Holt

...appeals, with only the RB position one I can''t be sure of.

Anyway,enough celebratory rambling....
