smooth 114 Posted January 14, 2010 its amazing... the numbness that we all felt when gunn was given the role is something I will never forget, I thought the time grant got it I was numb... but no gunn''s appointment was shockingly numbingthe problems have been for a number of years... but whose football club doesn''t have problemsthe games following gunn''s appointment were cringeworthy but still somehow we beat a better footballing side barnsley... and somehow with the last game we had a chance... then we collapsed and the players deserved the reception from a huge following... I will never forget that day or allow those who represented ncfc forget itgunn having two fans throw their season tickets at him in the first game, never thought I would see that not even to a manager who was not liked by norwich fans but it happened to a former playerhowever a year on...there is direction... it will only take us so far before if we want to make that next step... we either have to find that elusive investment or sell assets that we acquire under lambert who will hopefully improve and therefore we get profit when we sellwe haven''t done anything yet... still believe we will but the building for our future is happening... how far we go is another question Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted January 14, 2010 I''m as bemused when any Norwich fan trys to defend Glen Roeders rubbish managerial reign as Iam by those who say that Docherty is cr*p!No motivational qualities.No people skills.Poor tactics.Poor signings and use of the loan system.Yes we wern''t in the bottom 3 with Roeder but we were well on the way, it would of happened had he stayed and it would of been much more messy nasty than what it was with Gunn!But thankfully things have changed for the better and we can look positively to the future with a proper manager!
