Canary Renaissance 5 Posted January 7, 2010 It is no surprise to see Paul Lambert’s name linked with other clubs in need of a new manager. Nobody in football can fail to have noticed how he has turned the fortunes of NCFC around in the space of just a few months and on a tight budget. That, alongside the fact we are playing some of the best football in all four divisions. Moreover, he is doing what all chairmen want and that’s entertaining big crowds who want to share in the clubs’ success. The experts will have noticed that he is getting the very best out of a team without superstars and that his tactical awareness is second to none in Div 1. To that end, let’s see the directors of the club do more than just applaud him and knock back any unwelcome approaches for his services. Give him a pay rise now! Burnley will not be the only club to consider him in the months to come. Let’s see the NCFC directors take action. This will speak louder than words.

CambridgeCanary 0 Posted January 7, 2010 Do you really think that someone who really wants him will not be able to top any wages we can pay? Do you really think that he is not on substantial bonuses to achieve success here? These will tie him in better than any pay rise
W-H 0 Posted January 7, 2010 You''re right Lambert has been linked to another managerial job...Look, he isn''t going anywhere mainly because he hasn''t actually achieved anything yet. All this nonsense about Burnley, he is so far back in the queue for that one. When he gets us promotion, that is the time to worry because his stock will be worth so much more.
