singing canary 0 Posted November 14, 2009 we went down through roeders brain wave of over using the loan market . how many players did we have play for us last season ?.hardly any players knew each other .how can you learn to play as a team and how each other play ,if you dont know them or how they play ..? gunn could not sign anyone apart from coddy and had to use the loan market which clearly was not working hence the reason roeder got sacked to start with. as the players we had did not cut the mustard . the trend continued untill we got our own players of which has shown to be better than using the loan market . we signed 11 players some have made it, some have not . even the top managers sign players and sometimes they dont work out as exspected . all im saying is we have done very well as we did in pre season with the squad gunn put together . none of which are lamberts players . gunn had the choice of who he wanted to keep and who to get rid of and who to bring in . you cant entirely blame gunn for relegation last season . the damage had been done and could not be repaired half way through the season unless new players were bought then . they wernt . the man had no money to spend untill the end of the season .
