Glenn Foy 0 Posted August 24, 2009 oops I''ve just started a new thread about this..I was also wondering where people were going? The Liverpool match is on tonight as well, do you think everywhere will show the game?
Howson is now! 0 Posted August 24, 2009 It''s hard enough to find somewhere in Norwich that are showing the game over the Liverpool Villa game. We''ve got the obvious places here that will show Norwich but I imagine it would be even tougher to find somewhere in Sheffield. Hope you get to watch it fellas. Your best bet is to find somewhere where there''s two places close enough to each other that you can convince one to show what the othere one''s not. Rivalry in the drinking holes. shefcanary 2,955 Posted August 24, 2009 Thinking about it more the Pomona is probably the best bet. They have two boxes so will let us watch it on one of them. For the Reading game is was a similar situation where I went in seven pubs in the Eccy Road area, who all showed the Newcastle game even though there were only one or two interested in each of the pubs. At least at the Pomona there were about 15 of us Norwich, although as most were students worried that the turnout might be less today as Uni not back yet.I just hope the performance is better this time - not expecting a win. Glenn Foy 0 Posted August 24, 2009 i might try the pomona then.. i live near broomhill so i may try and check any of the pubs near there but i''m doubtful!
Sheffield uni Canary 0 Posted August 24, 2009 Last time The Fox and Duck pub in Broomhill showed it, when it clashed with Newcastle. If not I think our Uni bar (Sheffield uinversity) might be open and they normally let anyone in during the day so you could try that, as they have various screens showing drifferent things. Also isn''t there a new-ish sports bar on West Street now, not sure what it is called
