Graham Humphrey 13 Posted July 21, 2009
We had the chance to have a good player playing for us but ultimately it did us little good
Well it prevented us from being relegated a year earlier. Sorry but if the loan system is the only way to see players of such quality coming to Carrow Road then so be it. It''s not all bad you know. Just when you try to make entire squads of players out of them it gets stupid.
Yellow Wal 314 Posted July 21, 2009 Then ultimately it did us little good as we were unable to improve on our position! Hypothetical I know but if we had not had Evans, Chris Martin would have gained extra experience, better coaching (than at Luton we hope) and could have been an asset last season. Loaning players is not the only way to see quality at Carrow Road, we could always buy the player ..... before we develop them and price them out of our reach. But, unfortunately, that senario will not happen because the rich clubs will not sell whilst clubs like ours (in the past I hope) are happy to loan and do their work for them. norfolkchance1 0 Posted July 21, 2009 that loan was the best thing that could of happened to martin because remember the fans booing him and saying he wasn''t good enough for norwich. at least this way he''s got another chance.
