lucky green trainers 0 Posted March 9, 2009 spot on chrissy boy - makes sense for plastic to resume right back berth - and start with wes on the left wing - but again i say where are the goals ''gunna'' come from??? as i suggested on saturday - the front 4 are toothless...for tomoz night i suggest gunny gives a lead to his demoralised squad - first...corty has done better than i expected...but this is surely a match too far for a 34 year old...while crofty is looking jaded and uninspired...so i drop these two to the bench to freshen things up...i would start with gow (who has a good goalscoring record with blackpool) in his favoured position on the right wing...while putting the new loanee from reading a start...and pairing him with jamie - (if he''s still in favour) - a surprise recall could gee the boy back up...here''s my line-up... marshysemi doc shax plasticgow clinkers rusty hooley (or carney) curo irish
Fish eye view 2 Posted March 9, 2009 I agree we need to mix it up a bit but I dont see how you can play Hoolihan at left wing as he will drift into midfield (as he always does) leaving our left flank exposed. Most opposition goals have come down our left. I still feel we need Plastic at left back and Lappin or Pattison (unless hes in rehab) to tighten up the left side. Drop Cort to the bench (his poor old knees must be feeling the strain) to bring on later as needed. Croft on bench - Gow on right and Mooney up front?
