The Great Drinkell 51 Posted November 7, 2008 Surely it''s a mangers job is to build a team as terms like "you can''t buy success" have been banded around for years. If this is correct and you only need to look at Plymouth, Bristol City, Sheffield Wed and the likes to see there is some truth in it (certainly at championship level) Why don''t I feel we are doing this.Is Roeder actually trying to build a team or is he just helping out his mates by blooding their youngsters or helping them to regain fitness? I actually dislike what I''m witnessing at CR. why can''t we have a "Gary Johnson" or similar that will give US a team to get behind?
Paul Spector 0 Posted November 7, 2008 A managers job is to get the best out of the players available to him - if that isn''t good enough then there isn''t much he can do other than replace the players.
cuckoo in the nest 0 Posted November 7, 2008 We wont get Promotion at all under Roeder.. anyone can see that.. even the most die hard Roeder fan...let''s face it he will never win promotion, never has and he''s 53 . Good no. 2 or no 3 and safe pair of hands , shoe-in caretaker when a no. 1 fails .He''s not a Gary Johnson and never will be
