It has to be said that over the last few weeks people have (quite reasonably) become more and more desperate for some transfer news, with more and more threads pointing out how many players other sides have signed (on the whole, not many, is the truthful answer) and so on. It is slightly strange - but good - that the signing of a lad we''d barely heard of yesterday has managed to turn the atmosphere around - if only temporarily.
