No brainer now, we need CB cover/improvement therefore my plea is, City stop playing stupid brinkmanship games or stand-off with BCFC, we should go back in NOW with an improved bid and negotiate, yes negotiate a deal. Any delay risks 1. missed games (up to 31.01.2008) 2. a wasted or lost opportunity if the guy goes elsewhere. We now must have the headroom in terms of cash, so come on city get a deal done before time or patience runs out!Of course this is not the be all and end all (a striker is another must IMO) but I believe that this kind of signing will give fans and I imagine the team a welcome boost.
