Beaker 0 Posted November 25, 2007 So much for ''the judge''. Looks like yet another duff player. With the return of Fotheringham i cant see him getting back into the team barring injuries.
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted November 25, 2007 Quite telling that he was left out of the squad altogether. I don''t think Roeder rates him especially highly.
a1canary 0 Posted November 25, 2007 I think he''s useful competition for Russel. I don''t think Grant ever intended to play Russel AND Brellier but circumstances with injuries meant he had no choice. Russel is still blowing hot and cold for me and a fully fit and firing Brellier will make a good alternative to Russel.
lucky green trainers 0 Posted November 25, 2007 we saw the best of brellier against ipswich, and the worst the following tuesday against watford. in his mind surely he knows he can play the position - but like fozzy found last season - he needs to be fit enough to play it. blowing like a goodun after 10 mins against watford confirmed to me that brellier hasn''t been working hard enough to get the fitness levels required for the champs. he''s no cantona so a gallic pout woon''t cut any ice with roedy.don''t rule the juge out just yet - but he needs to work harder than he''s ever done in his pro career to get in tip top shape to figure in this city team - and roeder has probably told him that. full marks to fozzy for the pre season work he did to get fit - brellier should follow fozzy''s example if he wants to play in the first team again. hard graft allied to talent i''m afraid.
