BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted September 23, 2007 A friend of mine taped a 15 min Prem highlights package shown on TV recently.Norwich 4 Southampton 5 in April 1994. A riotous match. We finished 12th that season after being 3rd at Christmas.Wide spaces in the stands. Fantastic entertainment.My club is now 40th, plays in front of capacity crowds, has a female cook as leader, has an illit*rate as manager, is broke, and plays 90 minutes in the Chumpionship without a shot on/off target, has 3 players sent off in 2 matches, is cussed off by our star player, and............The dreams of 1959-95 are dead. Cold stone dead. Finally destroyed.Yes, I shed a quiet tear.What a travesty the fools have made of our legacy. Yes, the old pirates rob I, sold us to..........But we shall come again.
